So for that last post. Which I'm sure is a tyner fan. You guys say you didn't play a good game. Well polk offense didn't play a good game but oh well the better defense won the game. And like they always say defense wins cahmpionships. Not saying Polk will win the championship but if the defense keeps playing at the level tehy are tehy very well could be in teh mix. The offemse will get it fix this week in practice and be ready friday night. Tyner you have nothing to hang your heads about that was a very welll played game from the defense side of the ball from both teams.

I don't have much to say about this except both teams got screwed. But it is what it is. Now both teams are good and got talent on both sides of the ball. I think Polk will come out on fire. If Polk can force turnovers like they have all year it could get ugly for Tyner. Tyner has speed yes but polk plays smach mouth football with long drives so the speed don't hurt when they are on the sideines. Just my thoughts the tssaa is a bunch of CRAP. If you look at quad 2 thats the toughest quad int eh state. The wiiner of that quad wins state.

Why don't Copper Basin play Polk County? Because your coach knows you would lose. Playing between the two schools was opened two weeks ago and Coach Davis called up there and your coach didn't want to play because tie breakers go on overall wins. At least SP ain't afraid to play upper classes. So i guess you will schedual some more out of state games rather then come down the mt and get it handed to you нові авто

This would be a perfect game for polk to work on the passing game some more. Meigs will be just over matched this game and polk will bring that hard hitting and Pride friday night. These seniors are a great group to watch and play together and stand by each other. They arew all like brothers and its been a great ride. HOpe they make a deep run into the playoffs.

I for one respact SP. But they was over matched tonight. Polk had to much size and hard hitting. SP speed didn't matter at all they got hit in the mouth and laid down. Great job to Polk. I said i would wait till friday to post again so here I am. Tongiht is going to be a great game and both teams will play with heart and pride which I love. Both teams need this game beacause of who the play throughout the year not many close hard fought games. I'm not picking a score all I got to say is its going to be a close game. No I'm not that coach but I wil tell you I am the big brother of number 51 on polk and alumi of polk. That coach you speak of Coach Davis played important role in my life when I was with the team taught me a lot about hard work and teamwork. He is a great coach and even better man the whole staff which I'm sure the same could be said for SP's staff. And I have known all them boys since they played together when they was 5 years old. I'm a big supporter of the Wildcats and have the out most respect for SP program. It just some people get on here and trash talk which I understand is all fun in games. I would like to meet you I will be on the sidelines running the chains if you would like to meet me hope to see you there.

I want to make one thing clear I am a Polk fan but some people on here think we don't respect SP. I for one and I can speak for many of the Polk fans they respect SP a lot. I loved the game last year and look forward to seeing a great game again. I beleive SP could play in 3a I realy do. For your infor Polk only has 2 that go both ways depth will kill the great SP team. Allen and Hargrove are the only 2 that play both ways so get your facts straight. All I got to say about this game and Polk being slow and out of shape. Ask ole Terrel how hard them boys from Pokk hit. Towards the end of the game last year he didn't know where he was at. SP better come ready to hit and be hit hard tehm Polk boys swarm to the ball. How do you beat speed by hitting them right in the mouth. This Polk team has played with each other for a very long time. Great group of kids to watch. Come friday night the hard hitting and smash mouth football will begin. Both teams are very well coached and got great athletes. So how did that Polk looking forward help the Cheifs out tonight? Yeah Polk fans started talking on the Polk and SP thread but Polk's players had one thing on their minds tonight and that was to win the district agiain. Polk played lights out tonight and played fast and hard hitting. Now on to the real test next week against a very good Sp team.

Polk has great senior leadership on both sides of the ball. The underclassmen that start got alot of playing time last year and the year before so they have experience. Polk's passing defense will be tested against SP. Polk's o-line will have to stay with their blocks till the whistle which the o-line has played great all year. Then you have Polk's backs and qb which spread teh ball around can't jsut key on one player. Polk has shown it can throw which might be the way Polk has to get the running game some room to work. Polk's defense is quick at reaction and once they get a player tied up they call roll. Polk will be playing with a lot of heart and Pride. Polk is going to come out ready to work and get this win. All the players seem to be focused and are taken it one game at a time. Polk has all the starters back at a 100 percent and playing very well right now. The o-line for polk will get eh job done friday night. Polk has to many weapons in the backfield and then you got Allen at Qb. Polks defense imo is better then last years and are playing till the whistle. I know Sequoyah has improved but don't think they can stop Polk's offense and don't think they can move the ball against Polk's denfense.

This team plays as one unit. Most of them have played together since they was 5 years old. Yes Allen is a great athlete but he would be no where without his teammates and most important the o line which is the unsung heros. Soos, Norwood St John, Phillips, and Marty is what let Allen and the backs do what they do. Without those guys going to battle every friday night that offense does nothing. This team plays together and don't care about who its about all they want to do is win. Like the walker valley game the whole o-line knew Saxe was close to breaking the record and the wanted to stay in so they couild help him get it. These boys love to play with each other and have fun doing it. I've watched almost all them since they was 5 years old and have loved it. Polk will be fine

basin wouldn't have a chance against polk this year or many years from now. Since Davis took over the helm he has more kids on the team then he knows what to do with. Not taken anything away from Basin but Polks depth size and speed wouild be to much. Polk would wear out Basin and still be ready for 4 more quarters after the game. Tehy don't play players both ways and very few starters play on special teams. Just saying Basin has improved but they will not make state this year South Pitt is always there and they got beat by a very good Signal Mtn team. Basin finally has a coach that loves the game and is teaching the kids how to play with pride and thats great. But before Basin starts with the state champion talk tthey should play teams in upper classes thats what makes you better and prepares you for the South Pitts Jo Byrnes teams. Good luck to Basin.

Polk isn't having any problems with players fighting and that will never happen with Davis at the helms. He demands respect and to act like a respectful citzen in school and around town. Polks players play together from the crickets all the way to high school.. storage virtualization

Tonight I think Polk will come out with a lot of heart and PRIDE. The defense will stop Walker Valley's running game and Polks dbs will step it up tonight. Polks offense will do what it does and pound the ball and wear out Walker's d line. I think Polk will throw a little bit tonight to keep Walker honest. Polk should win this game and keep on rolling.
