Should be a great game Polk has a few starters hurt. Don't know much about Sweetwater. Pols defense will control this game. Like to hear what Seetwater has and talent they have. The offense for Polk will find the players to fill in for the injuried starters they have. First off dmacdaddy needs to learn how to talk since you are from polk county. Now that out of the way I have heard that Chatt Christian has improved but I don't think it will be enough to beat Polk this year they got to many weapons and experience on both sides of the ball. I would like to see Polk work on the passing game so they will be ready for the playoffs the running game is always good but when they crowd the box got to throw the ball which Polk did well against bradley. Polk will come out fired up and ready to play smashmouth and har hitting football tonight hope the rain holds off but then again football in the rain is always fun to watch. I look for Polk to come out and make a statement tonight after the tough loss to Bradley. The players are have that bad taste and Central is the team they get to get rid of it. Central is down this year bad and Polk for once has the size experience and speed over them. Polks defense is going to be to much for the younger Chargers and the offense is going to do what it wants. Coach Davis prob have to pull the starters at halftime because he is a class act and won't run the score way up there. The only way I could see the starters staying in if they aren't playing full speed or to work on a few things. But I think they are ready to play and ready to get going in the win column. After seeing Central play Cleveland I will say the Chargers have a way to go. Polk should have the starters out at halftime in this game if they show up to play. Which Coach Davis will have the Wildcats ready. Its going to be a long game for Central friday night. Polk played with heart and pride the whole game. They left everything on the field and thats all you can ask. Without the fumble and the muff punt this game couldv'e ended differnt. But thats the wouldv'e couldv'e. Its back to work and I'm sure Polk will be hungry now to prove that was not the best they had. Those boys played with a lot on the mind with Jim Bell not doing good and passing away last night will be hard on the Wildcats and the coaches my prayers go out to all them tehy lost a great and good man in Jim Bell. Hargrove played a heck of a game with just losong his brother a few weeks ago. I'm sure he was watching from above and loved what he seen from his little brother. I agree with you 100 percent. Davis and his staff do a great job with that and are great role models. With that the day is finally here and I know everyone is excited. Haven't got on here in awhile and a ole friend was wondering why. I've just been sitting back and reading all the post and thinking and with what I have read, heard and seen here is my take. Bradley's o line and d line are suspect if thats the case polk's lines will dictate this game. Polk had problems holding on to the ball early in the preseason they fixed that problem. Then the speed issue keeps coming up how this year polk team is slower. Ok Al Akins will replace Bussey and he is a very underrated player people will see how good he is this year. Losing Chase at fullback didn't hurt that bad with Derrick Saxe taken that spot and he is a bull when he runs the ball. The Lee kid and Allen are fast enough. Polk's defense will set the tone early friday night with the hard Polk hitting and swarming the ball. Then the smash mouth offense will wear out bradley by halftime. Everyone is saying this team can't do what last years team did I say they very well can. Bradleys Qb seems to force passes and that will be very bad friday night if he does that because polk has Swafford on one side then Akins Island on the other then Allen roaming at safety. So everyone get the popcorn ready for tommorrow night and get ready for some smash mouth football and hard hitting and a very good game. Good luck to both teams on a injury free game. Hargrove didn't play De last year and won't this year he was moved to LB last year and did a great job and should do they same this year. Polk's o lile and d line should winthe battle in the trenches and with all the skill postions coming back and the way Coach Davis runs that program Polk should come out on top. Polk did lose some very good players last year but Davis always finds the talent to replace the departed seniors. This Polk team will be scary this year they have played together since they was 5 years old. Tehy play with heart and Polk PRIDE adn a never back down mind set. These boys are ready to play and I can't wait 4 more weeks and its game time. Should be a packed house and a great game. GO POLK

I would like to know why you think Polk is struggling in this district? THey have all the skill postions returning and have great size and experience on in the trenches which the o line hase 3 returning starters. I just can't figure out how you see Polk struggling. Central might drop off a little bit Meigs has a new coach take a year or 2 to get use to the system. I do see the chiefs improving but not winning this district.

Polk should end up winning the district. Central did lose a lot of starters but I think they will still be up there around 2nd with Meigs. Seq. still has to prove to the rest of the district they can improve. Polk should make a deeper run in the playoffs this year with the talent they have coming back and the talent they have to replace the departed starters. Should be a fun year and great football its almost here.

This should be a great game again this year. Polk has a lolt of starters and the starting qb has 4 years under is belt should have good strength on the o line and d line for polk. Polks o line lost 2 starters but has 3 returning starters adn 2 of them seniors. The o line should be great for polk as well as the d line. Polk has great depth again this year and should be just as good if not better then last years team. Bradley's qb should be better with a year of playing under his belt. I think though polk will be ready as always with the job Coach Davis and his staff does with there players and they are hungry and wanting to play already. CAn't wait to get the season started. Yeah they have had that for a long time. I remember when I was in little league Which seems forever ago I got my diploma in 2004 so I didn't get the chance to play you guys in high school. But I've watched my brother ever since the crickets and agree with you these to teams love playing each other and respect both. My brother loves playing you guys and said he would like to play Loudon during the season. But anyways Loudon will be good next year and I think they will be ok that coaching staff like Polks always get the best out of thier players and do a great job with them in preparing them for life. Hope to see you guys this season in the playoffs. And you and your family have a Happy New Year!!

Korn I never meant disrespect to Loudon. They did outplay Polk and I'm the first to admit that. But they was looking ahead also I have a sibling that plays for Polk and was a member of the team from 200 to 2004. I would like to see Loudon and Polk play every year i've love those games ever since little league. I have a lot of respect for the Loudon program and IMO Loudon and Polk little leagues are the best around and the high school programs both have great head coaches and staff. I agreewith you though I would like to see how we hold up with Alcoa and I'll be pulling for you guys when you play them this year. I was pullling for you guys in the playoffs I was at that game and was very impressed again with the way Loudon played. Both teams will be forces in 2010. i agree almost but i think polk should be in the top ten somewhere they have a lot of returning starters and playmakers at the skill postions. I think jared allen from polk should be on there somewhere as well hes the leader of the wildcats. polk is going to have a good year next year and i think everyone thinks they are going to be down but you can't look pass at all the players they have coming back. looking forward to nexy season and would love to see polk and aloca go at it next year i was looking forward to it this year but they didn't take care of business against loudon they was looking ahead which i was afraid of. next year is going to be great and i can't wait for it to start already.

I will say the better team won tonight. Loudon's line beat us on both sides of the ball period and they were the difference not the QB. As far as your QB being more impact. If you put Allen behind that line he would be the best hands down. It didn't help that our running back and starting linebacker went out on the second play with a hurt ankle which changed the whole game plan. Why would you get on here and make a statement like that? Polks 0line has been good enough to win 11 games. 2 picks didn't help Polks cause any, is that the lines fault? 11 wins equals a good line, and I know you don't believe this, but it's a team game. Nice season Polk and the offensive line. I can't believe someone would come out and say that about are o line they played great ball all year and have one bad game and people start saying things like that. Those boys played hard friday night and gave it thier all and played with heart and that Wildcat PRIDE. Loudon beat us there is no question bout that they played a heck of a game. A lot of us Polk fans respect them and they respect us. But I'm not going to let someone bash Polks o line when they played GREAT all year you don't win 11 games in a row without them or the rest of the team. These boys played as a team won as a team and lost friday night as a team. Yes Allen and Hargrove are playmakers but the d line and o line creates the chances for them to make plays. Thats where polk will have the advantage in this game they don't play people on both side of the ball mayber 2 go both ways. Polk and Loudon are very close to being the same they like to pound the ball and hit hard a defense. I wanted to see this game in the regular season but meeting in the playoffs will give a lot better feel. This will be a battle for both teams. I have a lot of respect for Loudon ever since the lil days when me and my brother played. Now my brother is a jr and i know almost every teammate of his these kids play with a lot of heart and pride which i'm sure loudon does to. This is going to be a great game. Polk and loudon have played against each other in lil league for a long time and both of these teams always play each other hard and it has great sportsmanship. I'm very excited bout this game and should be a hard fought game for both teams. Polk has to come out like they have all year and they should be fine but the Redskins are going to give them a fight. Both teams are hard hitting and both can move the ball well and both have very good defenses. Polk should win the fight in the trenches with the o line they have.
