  1. AC is set to play stone tommorrow at 5 and catholic to play the winner of that game @ AC but with weather conditions we'll see. i dont see how they wouldnt get the tournament in jetsplayer. please explain
  2. z3mom, I think its pretty common knowledge that nobody misses him given the way that he recruited all those kids for years and then deserted them when it came time for his kids to make it there. Just sayin... probably not a whole lot of people miss him
  3. Really? nothing better to do walden? nothing better? Maybe you could work on your kids attitude instead of hating on good kids all day. Grow up son
  4. Don't get how riverdale advanced to the semis after catholic beat them... can anyone explain the logic there?
  5. The two games were well played by anderson county and catholic's sticks didn't show up. Price pitched his way out of a few jams as did York, with all the breaks going AC's way. Thats baseball.
  6. underdog32... nice post but, learn some grammar son. Its hard to take you seriously when you say "win" instead of "when." As for the game, loudon has had some real jerks on their teams the last few years and not a whole lot of teams like them. So, I'd say they were getting a little of what they had coming. As for CAK running up the score, so what? Keenan has already signed and Fromke's already getting attention, who cares about stats. O and please keep coach Pharr and Buckner out of this. Seriously... do you guys live on here just to build yourselves up? Bearden and Farragut congrats on great programs but their not the only teams in Knoxville.
  7. dont see how theyre "a non factor" They did beat you all last year and had you beat in the district championship through 6 innings.... so keep your head on straight there Shamrock. You guys aren't Farragut just yet. PS I am /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" />
  8. o catholic pitchers just prefer the feeling of a W after a big game against anderson county to the feeling when the radar gun shows 87. can you blame them? PS. Its 2009. i think your a year late on your little name there "Big"
  9. yeah thats true but... seeing as how both of them are faggles who complain about their arms all day.... i doubt they will both throw a complete game. Should be a great fun atmosphere though
  10. I think these will be two very well played games for both teams. The Mavericks have some very high quality baseball players and will show up to play in both games. It should be interesting to see how they do in coming back from their spring break trip and mustering up the energy after that first day back at school. Catholic has some very good players, that not alot of people know. Hookman and Morash have both homered this first week and i'm sure Irwin will by the time the two teams play. The series will ride on starting pitching as the matchups appear quite even on paper. Irwin vs Price and York vs Peters. It should be fun as these two top 10 knoxville area teams play it out. Prediction Game 1 AC-6 Catholic-5 Game 2 AC-4 Catholic-7
  11. BDP Awesome post 46 minutes ago. I will speak on this once more before moving on. 1) the issue with the cheerleader being grabbed, I have nothing but remorse for that. The "parent" of which you speak was obviously drunk as she came into our prep section and told us what to do. We did not listen and none of the people who were in the section had ever seen her before. She is not a regular at Catholic games and it is my hope that she is not invited back 2) Getting through that section is hard for anyone to do. Whether your wearing green and gold or white and blue or our rival's dark green. Its always like that. I was speaking on the accusation of spitting, which was completely false. 3)The Sections were marked by giant signs which read Irish parents and Visitor parents at the top of each section of seats. The reason there is only one tier of seats is purely geographic. On the visiting side, just past the track is a 30 ft hill leading down to the baseball field and building a tier there would not and is not possible. Lastly i can say nothing on the stench or apparent presence of alcohol. Judge as you will, but only one "parent" acted out of line directly because of alcohol. And the knoxville catholic community should not be judged on the actions of one individual who may not even be directly associated with the school
  12. WOOOOOOW. How much of that did you make up man? Like honestly... why'd you take the time to sit at your computer and write slams about Catholic that you know arent true? I'm upset that you got on here and said that in such a cowardly way. The prep section wore took their shirts off in support of their tem and your gonna sit there and make fun of them for it? Yes, you all did fill our stands and i had a far better turn out than we did. At our home field. However, if some of your parents could read, and not sit in the section clearly marked IRISH PARENTS, maybe we wouldnt be having any of these arguments. Thats a different story for a different time however. Overall, I was impressed with both your team and your turnout. And every whitehouse fan that i talked to was quite polite and had nothing bad to say, guess your just the coward who's upset about his team losing a hard fought, close game. See you in the burro... O wait.
  13. I agree Hogan... This all sounds too familiar. I'm sure we all remember how close that game was and I dont think this one will be any different. Given the home field advantage and the determination of the KC players after these past few years of major disappointment, I'm giving the edge to Catholic. KC- 28 WH-20 p.s. Hope you guys are as talkative during and after the game as you have been before
