  1. Meet me at Olsen's on Sunday at 2:00 and IF you live through my yoga class then we'll take it to the parking lot and I'll give you an educated answer. I'm the girl with the black belt on. Consider this an invitation to put up or shut up, as not to be confused. Sincerely, BTMOM of the OM
  2. Do you want an educated answer or are you just picking a fight? Either way, I've got both.
  3. For Rebel parents that have boys in need of YOGA: I'm teaching Sunday at 2:00 at Olsen's Martial Arts in JC beside Texas Roadhouse & across from the JC mall. Big space--free to attend--- all are welcome to come. The Om taylord@jcschools.org if you need more info...
  4. There are floors to be mopped at trash to be taken out....all those little chores add up in volunteer work. We never actually wanted him to 'speak' or anything, but I figured I could guide him through the toilet bowl cleaning process, much akin to what South with do with his Indians, so I wanted him to start feelin' it early. OM with Mom
  5. Translation: MY boy can take care of business. Let's see if YOU can help a BOY by putting your time where you mouth is. Shut up and show up. Please don't be too dumb to have this conversation with me. I'm asking What Have You Done For A Kid Lately?
  6. What time on Saturday is best for you to volunteer for a few hours at the Boys & Girls club? We have 8-noon or 1-4 open. Please let me know and we'll pencil you. Many thanks for you kind offer of service. The Kingsport Boys & Girls club fed my son after school, gave him the only Christmas presents he would have ever gotten, filled his life with excellent mentors like Batman, and taught him how to play football. Most coaches remember in 5th grade when they told him to get in a correct 3 point stance. Bobby replied "Coach, I don't know what that is. I've never played football before, sir." He can play football now thanks for a village of wonderful role models who actually put in their time instead of run their mouth. For those mentors, Bobby will say a personal 'thanks' this fall during football season as he takes your place as a community leader on the field. He's been volunteering time at the Club since he was adopted--- gratitude makes you remember where you came from. From a community volunteer from behind a teacher's desk for a zillion amazing years.... BTMama PS- excellent post FirstRebel81
  7. Palin's posts are so bad that they make mine look clever. Waco is still a wacko. Seven more days to post then I'm done until August. Cheers to summer TFH & BMama /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" />
  8. Cap- I'm reminding you that the BTAYLOR Mama personally invited you to come sit with us this year and cheer the Duece on....it all starts this evening at 5:30-- home scrimmage. Wanted to remind you to come on out! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  9. yeah, one of those nightmare middle school years---- it felt like it lasted a dang decade or more if you were actually in the war with the Duece.... good remembery my dear Batman Bobby Fan! please lets not recall many other things about that time period- it hurts my head! /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
  10. God had the most to do with Bobby being at South. Sports had NOTHING to do with it, truthfully. His 6th grade year he defied his mother by making a grade below a C and hanging out with thugs from kindergarten. I picked him up for Christmas break and promptly removed him from Kingsport City Schools. Bobby was actually in charge of his own fate, as usual. After many rounds of "Who's Da Boss?" in middle schools with his mom sitting in a desk beside him, he lived to go to High School. I work at Johnson City Schools so he could have gone to Science Hill. Bobby had the choice of high schools and he chose South---- not for the sports, but for the family legacy of Rebel Alumni in our family. We didn't have the luxury of choosing the best athletic school for our kid----we needed to keep him alive and help him progress in academics. Although he was athletic, we knew he'd never play pinball without good grades and the kid definately needed some 'home raising' by the time we adopted him. Those of you that remember us from back in that day will testify that sports was not high on our priority list for the Duece. ....all that and we've still weathered a million near misses just to see him take the field in BLUE & GREY; that's why we never take it for granted--- not one second, not one day---- it's all a miracle and a blessing when you see that kid show up healthy with his goofy grin and nappy hair... /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> DaDueceMama
  11. But, Waco, we can BUY new helmets....you're stuck looking like that forever. Bobby has a new helmet actually---looks like something from Star Wars--- very Michigan style but same REBEL style/color.... I added the lipstick "S" for the kiss of death just for you Waco. You'll be seeing it right before the lights go out. The new RED REBEL color is called RebelGate....designed by me & VMS. Don't be sad. Just beware. /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" /> 'SMoooooooochy... BMama
  12. Um, usually J is fast on the reply but the last I heard from her was Monday evening right before she took her last final ever and she wanted my secret margarita recipe.... hummm, wonder what's keeping her quiet? Bet she's living vicariously AGAIN!
  13. What? My offer did NOT include the care of your skeletons. I have my very own storage building full to take care of all on my own. OK, actually Greg does a good job for me. See, I take out all my skeletons and flaunt them around and party with them & stuff--- that way no one can tell a story on me that I haven't told on my very own self! It keeps life kinda simple, like my little cobwebbed mind! Rebelgate....I think you're on to something! I'm thinking....I smell smoke....must sleep on it....could be brilliant and always financially beneficial or I don't do it....hum, you just might have found a way to pay off all those rings, houses, manicures, and hairdos you bought but didn't get to use....I'll get back to you... Love, Mom
  14. Truthfully, I couldn't open it--- our firewall here in playschool catches everything. We don't have a computer at home but if you want to email it to me @ TaylorD@JCSchools.org I'd love it...
  15. Ummm, no thanks, we have SOOO many of those around our house already with a BIG #TOO all over them-- so exhausting to find the drapes to match. I'll take your first offer above....I do love other people's credit cards! Yes, that's really just perrrrfect. I take V, MC, or AMX. I cannot accept a balance less than $500- it costs that much just to get a babysitter for the 5 kids! /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  16. Finally, VMS! Ding, Ding! Funny how you only wrestle me for one reply and then give in but you make B Jack fight for it like a dog. I've been laughing at you two all day. This is my recommendations: 1. BlackJack: just let me know when someone doesn't instantly agree with you and I'll yell at them. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> It's the same as calling the principal or the Queen of Gray Station International 2. VolMan: You need a secretary so you don't feel the need to fight for 209 pages of a thread before you halfway agree with a poor guy; I perhaps could volunteer between locating my entire set if dishes hidden under Bobby's bed (dirty) and locating my cell phone my 4 year old has hidden in the hayloft 3. No one but you really remembers Z; it was still a one room school house and Colonial Heights was yet to be invented- please, come be with us in 2009! It's a lovely place.... 4. You all have about 2.9 seconds to go to http://tennessee.coacht.com/boards/index.p...howtopic=195671 or I'm comin' over there... Much love & baseball forever... Plus some Blue Duece Love BMama
  17. Oh, Red Rebel, I am a LOVER, not a HATER....so come on out and play with us! You may have a bad hangover tomorrow and wonder why you're wearing duck tape, but it'll be worth it all. We make this place fun while everyone else whines and moans- like the little party you discover going on in the back room a boring PTA Meeting. Birthday hugggggggggggggggggggggggs- ps- please provide appropriate gift quick fast so you don't get kicked out of dis party /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" />
  18. Are you telling me that my kids are trying to live their lives through me AGAIN? Goodness, I wish they'd just get their own, ya know?! OK, did you have a gift? I didn't see it attached. Birthday kisssssssssssssssssss /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" /> Da Mom
  19. Me & cowgirls dropped by after practice and they all say it went better that they expected--- which means, they lived! E Money said Bobby had to play some QB for our BB boys that were out. He said Bobby actually did a pretty good job for a fill in. I, of course, asked who ran around after Bobby with the step stool so he could see over the line to throw. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> I think Coach Hitler made his boys run pretty hard...Lil' Satch yelled to me "Mama, I need some YOGA--- I feel fragile!" and then they all headed to Long John Silver and the ball game. Whatever all that top secret information is worth... ha. BMama
  20. I'm proud of East too! Good game and good win! BMama http://tennessee.coacht.com/boards/index.p...howtopic=195671
  21. We shaved a lot of D & O Line heads on the Taylor Ranch porch last night. Bet a few helmets needed air today! Love, B Mama http://tennessee.coacht.com/boards/index.p...howtopic=195671
  22. This is the week of the BobbyMama 40th birthday and Sister of Blue Duece Graduation from University of TN--- all the same day, Friday, May 8! You may, as of today, begin to send your well wishes, money, flowers, stocks & bonds, diamonds, and any other items of admiration that you feel are appropriate. I have set aside this as a special site so no one can be off topic unless I declare it so! Let's PARTY! Deena & Jessica Fab 40 & the Pre Law Princess
  23. We've tried to call him couple of times. I think Bobby has talked to him. He doesn't plan on coming back. We offered for him to stay at our house for the school year. He was a great kid and good player working with a million of life's strikes against him. He knew he'd have a better chance at college if he played BB in FL. The kid really wants to get out of the hood. I was proud to wear his game jersey last year for him!
