bumpngo, why do you think so? Why is this year different? Not saying your wrong, I REALLY hope you're right, but I just want to know your reasoning is. Our competition hasn't been the stiffest out there.

Well, I am exited about the prospects of this season, I just don't know what to expect. Its hard to get a gauge against someone like waverly as to how good the Panthers are. Not sure Harpeth and Loretto can give much of a test either, guess we will know more on October 17. I didn't mean for that to sound like I'm putting down Harpeth or Loretto, I'm just going by records. Has anyone heard how Harpeth is this year?

The Harpeth and FRA score was very surprising. Sounds like their defense must be pretty good to have shut out FRA. The Panthers have looked really good recently, though. And I hear that the quarterback is going to be ok. Does anybody know exactly what happened to him? Also, I thought the backup qb looked pretty darn good. I just hope my Panthers stay on track with another strong performance this week. Go Panthers!!

I don't want to sound negative on my team, but it looks like the Panthers are setting themselves up for another successful regular season. My concern is, is this the year we can finally get out of the second or third round in the playoffs? IMO we have had some really good football teams in the past and just always seem to fall short. I hope this is the year we get rid of the stigma of being a really good team that never does anything in the playoffs. -Frustrated but hopeful Panther fan

Wow, sounds like the Tigers are much improved, I really hope our Panthers don't overlook them. Judging by past scores, it seems that Waverly always plays LC tough. Sounds like this year could be a REAL test for the Panthers against Waverly. Hopefully, the Panthers will not get too distracted by homecoming and remember there is a ballgame to be played against a much improved opponent. Good luck to both teams.

I think the outcome of this game all depends on which Lewis County Panthers team shows up Friday night. If it is the same one we suffered through watching in the Richland game, Waverly can win the game. If its the Panthers from last Friday night against Fairview, it will be won easily by the Panthers. I hear Waverly is much better this year and that the final score of their game with Hickman County was misleading - that it was actually closer than that. I just hope our Panthers can come out fired up and avoid all the homecoming distractions and get a big win over Waverly Friday night!

You are definately lying. And I have proof right here, just saw this on the 2A top ten thread. Notice how he refers to his home stadium as the "Lions Den." Guess what genius, thats not the Lewis County mascot. You can all check the 2a top ten reality not hype thread for proof. He's nothing more than an antagonizer that tries to get the opponents of teams he doesn't like riled up. Noone who actually was a fan of or played for a team would be so stupid as to brag on their own team in that way as bob does. Unfortunately, this happens alot on CoachT. It's one of the negatives of any anonymous message board.

I just couldn't sit here and watch this mess anymore. I don't even think bobthebuilder is a panthers fan or player, I think he is just an antagonizer who only tries to give the other team bulletin board material.
