i have no doubt we beat watertown. i dont think we mercy rule them because we take our foot off the gas early. more important to let the young ones play. we here at gordonsville win like we have won before and no doubt take defeat like we have been there before. i have known webster some 20-30 years he will have his boys ready to fight. we may end up beating them good but they will fight us all they can. too much respect and friendship for webster to call out a score. i just hope this one injury free for both. but it is usually hard to argue with the ambassador.
i think tc jr high put 50 or 60 on ours. our jr high is pretty good but tc seems to have a group of young players that will be very good in highschool. keep them together.
by reading other threads on here i am under the impression that sm will soon have to move up due to a boom in enrollment. sm going to a bigger class my get alcoa to play them.
looking at the teams you will play none have winning records and most of them play each other. you all have cupcake time all year. how will you react to a team who is as good or better than you. mid november gordonsville will meet you at gigis for some cupcakes.
i hear you man. it would be nice to get rid of about 4 teams and atleast schedule up a little. after we played tc it must be hard to get the boys up for mercy rule beat downs. its pretty dad when your third string and bench warmers can hold the fort down against starters trying to score. hope we draw something in round 2 so we can get back into gear.
if you played tc the next ten seasons, how many do you think you would win ? i will go out on a limb and say one time. if overall wins is an issue that may not be good. but the revenue would be great.
we have plans to do something with part of the farm. i hate the place i live at now. houses so close together. but south nashville is where my wife is from and she is not crazy about country life. me and the boy may have to fly solo for a few years. whatever it takes.
thanks for the props seven. right now we are sleep walking. i see us going into the playoffs rusty. i wish our big games were spread out not all at the first of the season. it would be nice to be challenged toward the end.
we would have to move. it would be a 100 mile round trip give or take. i would like to the child come to gordonsville,if he comes great, if not i wish him the best. you know how the rumor mill churns.
not to be a smarty but why waist your time thinking about games with tc and nj that are not even on your slate to play when you should have your minds on games that will be on you before you know it. i understand you all are the best that ever was and real life holds nothing for you.......... uc comes to my mind.
i know how talk is,but a player like this would not hurt us at all. i think he would fit in great. as for my kid, cant transfer now, all paid up for now. so someone else has heard too. good,,good.
