  1. My thoughts exactly. I about fell off of the freakin bleachers when Witherspoon did that. Of course, he was doing what he was told to do. Then they kept what in my option, one of their hardest hitters, Saul Powell, out of it. What in the world. I don't know a whole lot about football, but why not put their biggest, hardest hitting players in along with their speed, and have Witherspoon kick it out of bounds or a shorter kick. They did put Frazier in to stay back and catch whomever got loose, I'll give it to him, he was right with the runner, along with I think two protectors for the runner. That never should have happened. Those boys played hard and from what I can tell, really wanted it. Those coaches gave it away for them!!!!
  2. The Clinton team that I saw play Friday night, didn't even seem like the same team that I watched last week against Halls. They just didn't seem to have a lot of enthusiasm. The players on the sidelines didn't even seem very excited to be there. Not to mention, the fans. Also, they had a couple of fumbles that cost them. Maybe the players and coaches underestimated LC. Let's just hope that they kick it up a couple of notches for the remaining games. The players need to stay focused!!
  3. Great Dragon win over Halls last night. Stone was on point most of the time with his receivers. He over threw a couple of times, but heck, he was throwing over 80 yards on them. He's got a cannon!! It was good to see Frazier at RB again. I have watched him at that position since Optimist Football. He was really good at it then, it's good to to seem him at that position again. Halls seem to get a first down every couple of plays, I would like to see Dragon defense tighten up on that a little, but Dragon D held them, helping to seal the deal. Let's Go Dragons!!!!!
  4. I agree that the line on both sides is lacking in size, and maybe the linebackers should probably make a few more tackles inside. BUT, I don't agree about the lack of talent. They have talent all over the place. Frazier, Hazelhurst, even though he's out, Witherspoon, Martin......I'm guessing that you haven't been to any games this season. And, as a "CHS Grad," you know that any win over OR is huge victory in itself.
  5. I was thinking the same thing! After watching their game against OR, I am betting on Clinton to take this one. My prediction is they win by 2 TDs. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> They really seemed to be clicking in that game, even without the string of disasters by the Wildcats. I haven't seen Halls play this year, but after the W last week, the Dragons should have the confidence that they need going into this game.
  6. I'm going to pick Clinton over Halls. Clinton's offense seems to have it together. The new kid, Martin, has fit in perfectly with the team. He had a sick amount of yards against South Doyle. Sorry to see Hazelhurst go out to see him get the carries though. We've got some pretty quick WR's, use them too! I would like to see the defense kick it up a little bit, raise up off the line and push 'em back, give Stone a little more breathing room. The W against Oak Ridge may have been the boost that Clinton needed. Hope to see Weston back before the end of the season. He is a great player!! LET'S GO DRAGONS!!!!
  7. I agree. I want to see what the rest of the team is going to do. Weston is a great ball player. I have watched him play for years. I'm sorry to see him go out, especially for the Oak Ridge game. However, at the same time a think it will do a little good for team morale. Let the others get in on some action. Stone has a arm that is out of this world. I would like to see the coaches use his WR's a little more. Let Stone show off his passing skills. Go Dragons!!!!
