Rockwood has great players in Robert Gilmore & Brian Reed on the mound Payne, Chandler and Cook also do good on the mound as well as in the field. Gilmore does a fatastic job at 1st base also. Matt Goddard at 3rd Stepped in and played well in district, regional and sectional tournaments. ET McCreary does well behind the plate. Alex Hall from Harriman does a great job behind the plate.

This is a great game every year and has been for many years. The Tigers should do the job but dont count anything or anyone out in this contest!

The Tigers are loaded and should do good as long as they play as a team and they will!! Keep an eye on the third baseman. It promises to be a great year!

Glad to keep you informed 99. It is a pleasure to keep home folk updated! The teams are pretty much the 16 and under kids from both Rockwood and Harriman High Schools teams. Great bunch of kids! Fun to be around. IT IS ROCKWOOD TN! lol.

Rockwood won the league and could have gone to state. However, all the info our coaches were given at the beginning of the season about the state tournament was not correct. We were told the state tourn. would start 7-24 when in fact it started 7-10 and several of our players were already committed to church trips, camps, parents had planned vacations around this date then a few days before the 10th we were told it would start the 10th we didnt have enough in town to play! so there you go. They are going to have a wood bat tournament here in Rockwood next week hopefully. Thanks for keeping up this season.. oh yea Gilmore is playing

they are doing fine 3 games this week 3-24-02 Rockwood vs Kingston 6pm 6-25-02 Rockwood vs Harriman 6pm 6-27-02 Rockwood vs Oak Ridge 8pm still only 1 loss. Hope to see ya!

The team is doing fine. Only loss is to Kingston. They have 2-3 games per week and they play in Oak Ridge. The boys are having a good time and afterall that's what it's all about!! Thanks for keeping up! It means a lot to these guys.
