north fans tend to forget that north has been a playoff regular since 1994. they've made the playoffs 13 out of the last 16 years. thay made it 11 straight years from 1994 to 2004. won the conference/region in 2004. they've been to the 3rd round twice. the only years north didnt make it was 2005, 2006, and 2007 when they were playing up out of their classification. north has had a good program for a long time and it has continued.

bt washington, oakhaven, hickman and lewis are not in yet. only 2 of the 4 have a chance to make it. theres 17 potential 5 win teams. only 3 are in as of now. theres 12 playoff spots left. again i looked at this quickly so correct me if im wrong.

i looked at that when i made the list. 5 wins is not a lock.

as a raider fan both teams played hard and it was one of the best high school games ive ever seen. i hate losing. i really hate losing. but blaming officials is what losers do. all you can do as a coach is to ask your kids to give themselves a chance to win. our kids did that. the pass interference call was questionable. but.... betsy had several big offensive plays called back also. plus we obviously jumped offsides in two key situations. thats the ballgame. early we have a short yardage situation where we are trying to draw betsy offside and jump ourselves. the biggest however is when we are 2nd goal at the 5 and jump. we have to kick a field goal instead of getting the 7 we had a chance to get if we dont jump. thats the ballgame. dont embarass our kids and coaches who work their butts off by making ignorant posts. we got beat in a great game. betsy beat us in a great high school football game. hats off to them. as far as the altercation between the elizabethton coach and our parent - it happened. first of all no betsy coach had any business hanging around in our lockerroom area and no parent had any business saying anything to a betsy coach. raiders - its a marathon not a sprint. the main gaol of every game is give yourself a chance to win, the main goal of regular season is give yourself a chance to make the playoffs, the main goal of the playoffs is to give yourself a chance to advance. come out ready to get better in practice monday. this game is over. cant do anything about it.

there was probably a few on the field for jv games. no different than anywhere else. sophomores. this website has been the number one motivational tool for our baseball team the last 4 years - people running their mouth is a great motivational tool. the secret is - losers talk - winners just play the game. north fans - as a north fan - shut up and play. from experience i can tell you this site provides great bulletin board material - dont let it come from us - it never has before.

soxfan - once again ignorance rules. you criticize db who undoubtedly has the best program around and then you criticize north who has never been mentioned in any other post - the topic is db. alot of respect for db from anybody at north that has a clue. not that we dont want to beat them and we do some but no hatred. they have a program that everybody else should strive for instead of ignorant jealousy. check north's record against aaa teams the last 3 years. you have no clue of anything you talk about. chances are if north has played you they've beat you.
