This should be a great game. These two teams split in the regular season. Onieda won at home 53-44, and Rockwood won at home 53-45. Both teams are in region but, both would love a district championship. I think it will be a great one, what are your thoughts?

Rockwood went to Coalfield and picked up a big district win Tues. night. Rockwood now has 1st place in the district tourny locked but, could still possibly share the regular season title. If Wartburg beats Rockwood tomorrow night and Harriman beats Onieda then they(Rockwood & Harriman) would share the regular season title. And as for the player and coach of the year. The player of the year, you cant tell me that some one person stands out in this district, so it's up for grabs. And coach of the year, it could be a couple but, Coach K from Rockwood is an excellant coach and his team is starting to stand out. My predictions for region: 1-Rockwood 2-Harriman 3-Onieda 4-Coalfield Wartburg has a good team but, they have no big man. And they live and die w/ the 3 and that is why they are not in my 4.

Dalton91, You said that home court could mean alot. Well in that case I would be picking Rockwood b/c they are holding their district tourny. And they also get the region tourny this year. That's a long drive everyday for teams like CAK and Cosby, it could end up hurting them. Both are good teams but, everybody knows sitting on a bus for an hour and a half will bother u.

I was just replying about Rockwood. You have them losing to Unaka & Oneida. Yeah they lost to Oneida but then they beat them a week later. And I dont know where you got they getting beat by Unaka, because they dont play Unaka.

Who do u think is the team to beat in A during this new year? I think Rockwood has got to be at the top of the list.

What are your predictions for the single A state championship?

I can promise you Rockwood is not overlooking Happy Valley. Rockwood was looking at HV last wk, and that is what made the 1st half vs. Harriman so close. I think Rockwood was done looking foward to the HV game. Rockwood will not change anything for this wk. They will stay with what got them this far. Rockwood by 14 is my prediction.

What are your thoughts on this game? It will be an exciting and a good one to watch. Happy Valley will be ready because Rockwood put them out last year. Its gonna be a good one. What is your prediction?

I think Rockwood will win this one easy, but they got to be ready. Tapp was at the game the other night and he will have every trick play in the book for Thursday. Rockwood has got to be ready for anything. I think they will be. Go Tigers. Rockwood-55 Harriman-7

Rockwood is 6-1 and still not getting any respect(we are not gonna get it boyz). Oliver Springs is a good football team. You got to play your best ball against them, if you want a chance to win. Rockwood will come out ready to go, as well as OS will. Rockwood has got to come out firing, and I think they will. Whalen is dangerous, we got to stop him. Im going with my Rockwood Tigers in this one. Go gett'em boyz. And this is the most important game of the year(it is the next game). ONE GAME AT A TIME. And it is all about TRW

Rockwood took there first lost last week but, that is over with. Now Rockwood does not have to worry about going undefeated or anything, now they play for #1. They are not out of the #1 spot in the region. We need a good week of practice and then hit'em in the mouth fri. I feel sry for Meigs because, we are not happy about the loss. This week will tell alot, but it want tell everything. Harriman is going to get overlooked by someone and win one this yr. Hopefully it will not be a region game. And if it is a region game hopefully it will not be Rockwood. Harriman is due for a win but, who is it going to be against. That could be the upset for the region. My picks. swil50RW Hey tex, bow and scruggs are doin great. Their both doing well on D and scruggs is doing good on O, but bowman threw his first and hopefully last incompletion the other night. And xtremeloco, I can promise you that we are not looking at the 3-3 record. Alcoa is a young but good team, and we all know that. Right now this is our biggest game because it is our next game. We need to keep taking it one at a time and we will be ok. We cant overlook anyone because, we are the target right now and everyone is aiming at us. Rockwood will not change anything, they will stick with what got them this far. Im picking the Tigers for 3 reasons. 1-been in big games 2-more experienced and mature 3-there leadership. Go Tigers.

We are halfway though the season and Rockwood is leading this region, can they keep the #1 positioin and if not who will take it?
