Not sure if it’s coaching or culture or both but it’s been wild. McMinn has 6 rushing scores… with relative ease. Huge holes. 41-14 half. 

Clinton needs to hire a good coach this off season. I'll be very disappointed if they hire someone on the current coaching staff or Rodney Ellison. I believe Clinton deserves better. I guess we shall see.

Any team with a losing record should NOT be in the playoffs. Heritage is a much better team than Clinton. 

By the body language I saw Friday night, Clinton has already given up on the season. They can't run the ball. Not much better at passing. Defense can't get a 3 and out to save their lives unless if they're playing a team worse than them. 

McMinn will win this game fairly easy.

The offense looked terrible. The defense looked terrible. Their body language looked terrible.  This was the worst Clinton looked all year. They don't deserve to go to the playoffs next week. They should just get ready for basketball season. 

Just go ahead and forfeit next week's first round playoff game and focus on basketball season. Smh

What I'm saying is it doesn't make sense to try to make a schedule before you even find out how many non region games you will have. Pump the brakes there eager beavers. Lol

Clinton leads the all time series against Heritage 11-3 and have won the last 2 meetings with Heritage but I feel like  Clinton will have a hard time moving the ball against their defense.  I think this will be a hard game for Clinton to win, but I hope they prove me wrong and play like they don't have anything to lose.

The end of the day Clinton has to be ok with bringing in kids if they want to win regardless of who the new HC is. Not to the extent that the previous HC did but you have to if you want to win. 
If you are ok with 3-7 to maybe 6-4 with all Clinton kids then that’s fine just don’t come at the new guy complaining. 

No matter who they hire, everyone will not be satisfied or happy. I would love to see everyone on the list that applies for it.

If you finish with a 3-7 or 4-6 record......you don't deserve to be in the playoffs.  I come from a generation that wasn't given participation trophies. You had to go out and win it.  This may seem harsh to some but that's just my honest opinion. 

Not that it really matters but the announcers on the Karns live stream said Karns hadn't beaten Clinton since 2017 but Karns did beat Clinton in 2022 50-28.

I agree. I can see Coalfield trying to go for the jugular, but their defense is playing very well. Just kick it deep and make OS drive the entire field. I don't think OS can unless they hit an explosive play.

It's going to be hard for OZ to score on this Coalfield defense. Coalfield is only giving up an average of 8 points per game.

This years game will be interesting. Clinton has had some pretty bad teams over the years and still found a way to beat Karns.  I think Clinton can score some points against Karns but can Clinton's defense stand strong and slow down Karns enough to get the win?
