absolutelyamazing, i definitely know who williams is. have watched him play since sixth grade. also know his parents. i realize he's quiet on the court. i'm not saying he's a talker, it's more of a non-verbal thing. how can you watch him and not get the feeling that he thinks he's all that? i give him total credit for his talent. he's a great 3-shooter. i just think he needs to work on his overall cocky appearance and mannerisms. taking nothing from his on the court talent though. just telling you how he "appears to be." i know i'm nowhere near the only person who gets these vibes, but hey... to each his own opinion.

wow, you've read so many things into my post... that i don't really even know where to begin. 1- nope, i never said stephens was our team, in fact i said quite the opposite. our team is just that...a TEAM. no individual players focusing on themselves...just a solid team. 2- i have "glimpsed" at williams since jr. high games. glad he is a humble guy. i'll take your word for it. he comes off as quite the opposite. 3- i never once said that the mvp should only come from culleoka. i understood you meant district mvp's. all i did was comment on your choices. so ok, we'll wait to make our choices 'til the tournament comes around. it was your idea anyway, not mine.

monkey wrench, monkey wrench, monkey wrench. how wrong you are! stephens is a very valuable part of our team. everyone is, when will you understand that? it's not that the team didn't NEED him that night vs. CA. it is that they stepped up FOR him! you just don't understand the letters TEAM...t: together e: everyone a: accomplishes m: more! the beech twins, holt, stephens, the three jrs., and the younger guys are ALL a very important part of our team and willing to step up when needed. as for your ideas on darnell for mvp...i'm sure you have a reason, but none of us saw a hint of mvp the night we played cornersville. and now about williams, you're right he has talent but it's such a shame that his attitude and big perception of himself both over-shadow his basketball talent.

i appreciate that comment so much. people get so caught up in wins/losses that sportsmanship is rarely even noticed or addressed. you're exactly right, the warriors are good sports... both on and off the court. i wish people knew these boys personalities individually. they make one great team and they make it easy for us to support them.

why do you think CA will be such a big opponent for Huntland? 9 is not a double digit.

ok that helps. yes, 31 an 45 both played. whoever the big stocky guy is 44, did not play. seemed to have lots of turnovers and bad passes, but i'm no expert. cornersville student section was pretty quiet and culleoka's student section didn't really show up or were scattered throughout the crowd.

you're asking the wrong person for details. LOL... i don't think the big guy #44 played at all. he warmed up, but didn't see him in the game. i'm not familiar with any of their names. sorry! maybe tell me their numbers and i might know more.

no way were 20 adults there on the visitor's side, unless some sat on home team side of the gym. i saw the group behind the players as well and it looked to be like dads (4 of them) upstairs and another 2 women. anyway, their team probably rode a bus and sometimes that keeps parents at home. another 4-5 people upstairs were CA players. Go Warriors tonight!!!

monkey wrench, i don't think culleoka lost the game due to the refs at all. that isn't even what i said. and i didn't smash/trash talk mba either. i do think a foul should be called when a player is tripped intentionally though. that's what i was meaning. and i do think a foul should be called when a player is intentionally fouling another player to get a foul called on purpose...since his coach said to foul him. those were two big overlooked fouls. there were probably at least eight adults maybe ten on mba's side.

that's the truth! (your last sentence) but culleoka also made some critical mistakes too. couldn't believe the turn out for mba...or should i say lack of turn out!

pilkinton has been on with his 3's lately. not sure i'd brag about his defense though. chad was definitely off last nite. i'll give it to huntland, they never seemed to give up and quit.

good game warriors! Congratulations on your win! even young players were hustling and playing hard. josh g. showed some speed and agility as he blocked a layup in the 4th period.

so sad! we will be praying for all of the families involved.
