  1. I really don't care who wins any game but ours. I want FCS to beat Gordonsville and take the 8A District tournament and get ready for the Loser of the Clay Co/JC game Saturday night. Let the pieces fall where they may!
  2. The question of the night will be who wins and loses in the consolation game? What could be weird is the loser could be the winner...........if it holds true that Clarkrange can not HOST a home game in the tourney's then they musty travel Saturday night. What if RBS beats watertown and Clarkrange beats PC? Then Watertown seeded 4th would play at home and send RBS to PC after getting the 3 seed. Isn't that confusing?
  3. The question still surfaces of win or lose does Clarkrange travel to Watertown or RBS since they can't play at home?
  4. Good thing I didn't bet the HOUSE last night!
  5. Did anyone confirm that Clarkrange will travel to Trousdale Co Friday night even though they would be the #2 seed? Trousdale Co said last night they would host Clarkrange if they lost to JC?
  6. My bad PTS.........KeAnDre' Bates.......
  7. I'd say JC, Clarkrange, and RBS will win with no trouble. Clay Co and FCS split during the year. The game will depend upon if FCS can stay out of foul trouble they have a chance to be in the game. However if they get early fouls on key players no chance for them to win.
  8. So that means Pickett Co goes to RBS and Clay Co comes to FCS Friday night.
  9. So the 1st team was: MVP Lacey Colter (no brainer); Heather Jenkins (RBS); Laurel Burroughs (FCS); Andi Morrisett (FCS); Katie Belcher (TC).... Did I miss one or was it just 5?
  10. Did Clay Co beat Pickett Co last night? No score posted on here or the paper??????? And Trousdale Co does get the home court vs Clarkrange because of the probation Clarkrange is on. Someone said this was the last year of the probation. It won't matter Clarkrange will beat TC no matter where its played.
  11. FCS and Gordonsville SQUEEZE out victories tonight in Gordonsville!!!!!! You heard it here first! LOL
  12. You have 5 listed on the first team (doesn't MVP count on 1st team?) I don't think 3 RBS will be in the top 5..... Nothing against them but I'd say Gartner from Watertown would get that 5 spot over Burgener? And if Morrisett hadn't got hurt she would have been on the first team.
  13. So the 8 teams in Region 4 will go at it starting Saturday Feb 26th @ 4 different locations weeding out 4 teams and the winners of those 4 games will advance to Watertown next week. 7A teams have Clarkrange vs Pickett Co (championship game) and Clay Co vs Jackson Co (consolation game) 8A teams have Gordonsville vs FCS (championship game) and Watertown vs RBS (consolation game) All 4 teams in the championship games will play at home Saturday with the other 4 teams in the consolation games having to travel. Regardless of the outcome on Tuesday night FCS will be hosting Clay Co or Jackson Co Saturday which will send one of us home for good. I would have thought that this match up would have been in Watertown for the semi's or finals. But you got to face them sooner or later....... Any thoughts? We know what Clay Co has but haven't played Jackson Co yet and as for me I haven't seen them play. I think I read where one FCS supporter went and watched them play. Should be some good Saturday night match ups.
  14. Well where is Midtn man at? At least he is getting another shot at Clay Co like he thought he would (except its for the consolation game)......That must have been 2 good games to watch Saturday night. This will be a wild Tuesday night at Gordonsville and Livingston...when all said and done there will be 2 teams at home after Saturday night that either finished 1 or 2 in their district....... Good luck to all 8 teams playing Tuesday and to each team traveling next Saturday night be safe!
  15. Who do you think is 1st team.....2nd team..... in 8A My thoughts are: Wes Grace -RBS (would be my choice of MVP) Cameron Hill -FCS Adam Ford -TC DeAndre Bates -Watertown Mark Sandoval -FCS 2nd team Cameron Jordan -Watertown Ryan Cornwell -TC Dalton Patterson -FCS Cody Woodmore -Gordonsville Jordan Meador -RBS No particular order in either team
  16. 4. On Saturday, following the completion of the district tournament, there will be four quarterfinal boys’ games with the Winner and Runner-Up teams from both districts hosting the Fourth Place and Third Place teams from the other district. Example: Site 1: Fourth District 2 @ Winner District 1 Site 2: Third District 2 @ Runner-Up District 1 Site 3: Fourth District 1 @ Winner District 2 Site 4: Third District 1 @ Runner-Up District 2 All games will be at 7:00 p.m. local time. All expenses, including officials, 18% of the gate to TSSAA, etc., will be paid by the host school with the net receipts split 50/50 between the two schools. 5. The quarterfinal winners will advance to a central site with the following format: Monday: 2 Girls’ Semifinal Games (6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. local time) Tuesday: 2 Boys’ Semifinal Games (6:00 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. local time) Wednesday: Girls’ Championship (7:00 p.m. local time) Thursday: Boys’ Championship (7:00 p.m. local time) After Saturday's games....loser is done and the 4 winners advance to Watertown.
  17. In our paper this morning it said FCS girls would get a home game next Friday for the first round since they won last night. So I would assume that the boys would be playing Saturday games 1st round?
  18. Well its game night @ Gordonsville......These 2 games should be good ones to watch. FCS should be the favorite to come out the #1 seed but like someone said in a previous post....Districts make teams better and worse! Got to win tonight to get a 1st round home game (I think).......
  19. RBS and FCS took care of business last night @ Gordonsville. RBS struggled somewhat only beating the Lady Tigers by single digits whereas FCS TROUNCED Trousdale Co by 27. Gordonsville and TC will play to see who travels to JC and who travels to Clarkrange......Wow what a bonus??????? RBS and FCS get another home game next Friday night
  20. At the time I posted that info that was the word going around that she wouldn't return (her main sport is volleyball) this year. But she did return playing sparingly in the few games that was left in regular season. The problem with FCS girls is at the point guard spot....Burroughs is having to play it most of the time therefore taking her out of the shooting area for her. Allison is helping at PG but she's not a PG..... D. Jones (freshman) is starting to come around on the post and with her and Teeter and Neal on the boards they have a chance to make some noise but no doubt that RBS is the best team in the 8A......To me Jenkins is the key to that team. Let Colter have her 20.......you stop Jenkins you beat RBS.....JMO
  21. I always hate to say " It's hard to be a team three times in one year".....Boys Bradshaw isn't accepting the fact that he got in the district tourney by beating TC......He won't be satisfied until he beats FCS.....I just hope it isn't this year! Or Next year! Two close games during regular season......1st one FCS had Patterson and Johnson on the DL and Hill twisted ankle 2nd qtr and missed 2nd half. 2nd one Hill and Anderson sick as a mule and Johnson still on the DL but Bates got hurt in OT and couldn't return and he was hot as fire during the game...... So hopefully both teams will be at full strength Friday night and have a good game.
  22. Watertown gets in beating Trousdale Co last night....... Now they play FCS Friday night as well as the RBS vs Gordonsville Game My prediction is FCS vs Gordonsville for the top seed
  23. You don't have Clay Co in the championship???????
  24. You may get to see Mr Grace and Co next week 1st round!
