Ah the home team called it off brother!

I just heard that the game between RBS/FCS has been postponed because of the weather forecast of snow coming thru by gametime??? Any one else heard that?

She is a JR so she will be back next year but FCS has 3 SR starters and 1 SR sub

If they did its not on the schedule or in the paper........We will get a front line view on who is playing tomorrow night when FCS plays them. Unless of course the little white stuff falls again like they are calling for. Seen where Clay Co lost to Jackson Co last night in OT........they will be PISSED when we get there Friday night!

No doubt they are still the favorite in the district.........and I guarantee you that RBS will NOT be overlooked either time we play them.

It was actually only 9-10 pts before all the flagrant fouls were administered so she was the point guard. We play 9 all thru the game and have 3 freshman/soph that don't see alot of action.....I assume because it was a district game and they were HACKING coach left the ones in that could handle the ball and ft's but it backfired this time.

Yeah I hate that for any team......I guess we will see how they react without those 2 when we head that way Thursday.....I don't think they play tonight and we don't either. Not only do we head to RBS Thursday we turn around and head to Clay Co the next night....2 huge games back to back for us but of course RBS is a district game so we need that one to go up 2 games in the district.

Word is starting point guard Andi Morrsiett done for the year with torn ACL. This happened in the Trousdale Co game with less than a minute to go. FCS up 15 or so and TC fouling like crap......all fouls should have been FLAGRANT....uncalled for but of course when girls are coached like that what would you expect......He even called a time out with less than 10 seconds left. Classless! This will be a huge blow to our girls team who is undefeated in our district but still have 2 games with favorite RBS.

Well we play RBS this Thursday (make up from 1-11)....I think I remember Washington from last year. He wasn't a starter and only played sparingly but could have been a starter this year, not for sure. Don't know a thing about the other newcomer. I hate to see any team lose their cool over a ballgame but I do know that both teams RBS and CC as well as our team FCS lets the crowd get to them. But they are high school boys and sometimes they lose it. Good luck to both teams.

It should be a good region match up this year? By the way where is Region 4 played at this year?

I agree with your philosophy on winning year in and year out (with targets on their back)....What I was referring to was being a private school having the "Recruiting Excuse" target on our back.......take it for what its worth!

That was my point we can't overlook them because they gave RBS all they wanted.....I still say we have to be on our A game when we step on the floor because as always we have a TARGET on our back............

I think Murf suits all three regions BUT would rather see it in Cookeville.

Well this will probably be the first game in a week that both these teams have played since the weather postponed our Tuesday night games. Not sure what TC has this year but I did see where they lost to RBS last Friday night by 2 points so that ought to tell us something.......Good luck to both! Game of course is Canceled and no makeup date is set.

RBS should be favored in this one (but it won't be tonight). However FCS has been playing good basketball. Laurel Burroughs is leading the way as the leader of the senior group. Andi Morrseitt (jr) also avg in double figures. Key to this team is how well Hayden Neal plays (esp on defense). Teeter has to get more aggressive on both ends and Woodall has to step it up a notch for this team to win the district.

Hey Bobcat and Play4fun........yall are bound to know by now Midtnsportsfan is NEVER wrong......he knows everything even if he don't go to a game........ Speaking of CHARGES..not sure what kind of refs yall are getting but the ones we are getting don't have a clue what a CHARGE is........the main guy over the refs needs to have a clinic and demo what constitutes a charge and what is a block. And FCS beat PC in their gym and the game was called fairly well. I thought we got called for a few charges there also that wasn't but then with less than 7 seconds left PC shot a 3 got the rebound twice got hacked both times and never got a call. We won by 2.
