Fair enough. I like the fact that you actually have reasoning for your statements unlike many others. You know, it has been 10 years since Watertown was beat by Clay County, and technically they were Celina then. That blows my mind. Watertown used to be a guaranteed win for Celina. Even in '98 (the first of many down years for the Bulldogs: 4-7) the Purple Tigers tasted defeat, however I have to say that Watertown has turned into a team that can beat anybody on their schedule year in and year out. Holycross is a good back, but after seeing TC and FCS already, the bulldog defense won't be seeing the best back that they have faced. Phillips is great, has he been as effective without Eaton and Blaze. Lennox is what he is, big, strong, and fast, but once again I think that it helps the Dogs having seen TC and FCS. Ford was out against them, but FCS certainly had a few that would give Lennox a run for his money.
I just hope that it is the good game that it should be. If Watertown wins it should be like two years ago when they won 12-8 in a nailbiter for the Tigers. But the winds of change are about to start blowing. I'll still take Clay, wait and see.
I have seen Lennox play through out his carrer and i never seen a lineman from FCS give him a run for his money
