  1. Do you think his "moron" coach got him the ball enough tonight? Based on your comment last week.
  2. Charles official stat line was 49 points and 26 rebounds. To me the term 'double-double' doesn't do that justice.
  3. I wouldn't call Oak Ridge "Mediocre". They beat a good Clinton team on the road by 14. If I recall Bradley was only up on Clinton at home by 10 or 12 with about 3 minutes to go.
  4. Playing good defense doesn't mean you foul, you do the complete opposite. That's what I thought good defense was. The last time I checked, a team that played good defensively didn't get there by having players foul out, they were known as a good defensive team by limiting the other team to one shot, or getting steals in the passing lanes, all of which Rhea Co. did to Oakland. Also, did Oakland play good defense by intentionally fouling Rhea Co. at the end of the game to stop the clock? Exactly.
  5. Tim Cooper - Rhea Co. Dropped 33 on Oakland in sub-state game and was all-region tournament last week. If it's a big game he steps up.
  6. Bk is the bad guy. Congrats.............
  7. Cumberland @ Rhea Co. has been postponed until tomorrow night (2/7/04).
  8. Bradley 25 Giles 23 Halftime
  9. Rhea Co. lost to the host team, Mater Dei, 63-52. Leading the way for the Golden Eagles once again was Zach Hyatte with 15, Tim Cooper again with 14, Josh Jenkins with 11, and Corey Gillespie had 8. Rhea Co. will be back in action in Illinois tomorrow night.
  10. Rhea Co. defeated Salem 65-58 in the opening round of the 43rd Mader Dei Classic in Illinois after being on a bus for almost 8 hours. Zach Hyatte led the way with 20 points, Tim Copper had 14 and Josh Jenkins had 11. They play Mater Dei Saturday night at 6:00 cst. I was told that there were about 1,500 people there and that the atmosphere was great. I'll keep you posted...
