  1. Don't know anything about Moore Co., but good luck to Jo Byrns from your neighbors in Greenbrier, we're pulling for you.
  2. I agree, smart on WH part to force 4 scores on GB instead of leaving points on the table and allowing for a tie if it came to that. Not that it would have happened last night. Our boys played hard and gave their best, WH is just on a different level this year. Congrats to WH, hope you go far in the playoffs. If the weather is decent next weekend I'll be at the game...or maybe Jo Byrns haven't decided yet. Hold your heads up Bobcats, we'll be back.
  3. I don't know squat about East Ridge, but I'd have to say after finally seeing WH in person last night....I'd take White House. Good luck in the playoffs WH, you should go far.
  4. What I like most about our announcer, is that he announces both ways - calls for both teams, the Bobcats and the visitors. It's nice to know who made the play, ran the ball or made the tackle, regardless if they are the home team or not. Some of the places we've been to this year (Station Camp and Sycamore come to mind), I didn't hear anything except about what the home team was doing. And this week at White House, I won't hear a thing because the PA system just plain stinks and you hear nothing on the visitor side (unless they fixed it this year).
  5. Nevermind, found it on another CSS page. Now if they could only spell Greenbrier and White House correctly /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  6. Can anyone confirm the CSS game? On the CSS website it still says "fan's choice".
  7. Who's your pick in this longtime rivalry? Can Greenbrier pull off the upset? I'm going w/ the Bobcats in a close one /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  8. Great game last night Bobcats! 5-0 at home this year. Thanks to all the class of 2009 Seniors, we are so proud of you! 10 Clint Ford 15 Cody Elder 16 Zack Ziegler 22 Tyler Mench 50 Derek Pryne 56 Dustin Clay 57 Cory Pryne 59 Lee Holliman 60 Blake Pearce 80 Chris Thole 87 Brandon Teel 90 Justin Brogdon We've enjoyed watching you grow and play all these years. Good luck in whatever the future holds for you, the Bobcats will miss you! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  9. Congrats to this years Seniors. It's been a pleasure watching you all play and grow together (and grow up) these last 10 years. You are all a great group of young men. I'm sad to see it come down to the end, but I wish nothing but the best for you this week and beyond /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  10. I just hope all Greenbrier's banged up players can heal up and play, especially the seniors.
  11. Last home game of the year, it's Senior Night at Bobcat Stadium. I'm taking the Bobats of course. What do you all think?
  12. It is very political, but I think (unfortunately) that is pretty much the case with any team. All teams have their one standout and that is the one that gets the headlines. Just the way it is. I could say more but I'll leave it alone. I do know there has been college people at the games, and they are not there for #16. I do agree we could mix it up a little more. Obviously with the lead we had last night there wasn't going to be alot of passing, but I would like to see Greenbrier use the split ends for more than running in the plays and blocking down the field. 8 games into the season and none of those group have a TD.
  13. Actually, everybody in the stands around us was kinda disappointed they didn't bring the band with them. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  14. Good game Bobcats! Let's keep it going against Macon County.
  15. It's not that Greenbrier doesn't have athletic players, we have several that have shown they can play. It's just that Greenbrier will stick to that same gameplan to the bitter end. 3rd and 12, down 21 points in the 3rd quarter - hand it off to #16 up the middle. Can we please try something different if that is just not working?
