it is pretty simple. dungbright can say whatever they want to, they can say they had more yards, or whatever they are saying. the only thing that matters that you were beat. wartburg outscored dungbright. the defense played better than dungbrights offense, and wartburgs offense played better than dungbrights defense. plan and simple. dungbright was held to only 8 points. wartburg scored 15 points. what else matters wartburg wins dungbright loses. dungbright can make any excuses they want, they lost, thats the end of it.

Maybe if they get cobble he might hire cochran, as oc, dc, either way he could do know wrong, especially in the weight room and for the speed development. that would be a great coaching staff with just those two. i do not see cobble leaving. cochran is a spin off from bill horton, who used to coach at rhea county, i am sure he would consider the job if he does not get the carson newman job, i know coach sparks is high on him, and he is a former player. maybe being a coordinater at a bigger school in coach cochrans thinking would open a head job at a bigger school.

i have been on here for a while and have been reading alot of things. i canno0t understand why you guys and gals, have not metioned trying to get coach steve cochran back to rhea county. i believe last year was his first year at the high school he coaches, i am not really sure what high school he coaches, but i think it is around oak ridge or knoxville, and it was there first winning season in several years i hear he is a tremendous strenght and speed coach, on a different level than our coaches. big on discipline, but a great christian and great guy. it would be something worth checking into. this is where he is from, and holds all these weight lifting records, and not to mention has a couple of national championship rings from carson- newman. i here he might be in the running for silverdale baptist high schools head coach, because Johnny Alans new business is really booming, and he is in the running for the Cleveland high schools head job. just thought i would mention it. go eagles

although i am from cleveland, why dont they try to get coach steve cochran,he is from rhea county and is coaching somewhere up in morgan county. he is a fenominal coach, and a great strength and conditioning coach, he has a couple of national championship rings from carson newman, and really knows is stuff. i have a friend that knows him and he says that he is a tremendous christian and is high on discipline. He also says that he really knows his x's and o's as well, i just thought i would ask about it. he played under coach bill horton, so you know he knows about football. plus with his national chanpionships he knows what it takes to win.

since you are so interested in history of the two teams then you know that wartburg leads the series by a pretty good margin, and if you are interested in the present then you know that warburg not only beat you this year, but held you scoreless with less than 50 yards of offense, and the future does not look to good either, especially with the coaches you have now. the coaches at wartburg are younger with tons of more knowledge of football. they even have a coach that has not only college football experience but national championship experience, and going by what i hear he might be your next head coach if he decides not to coach in college. plus the one from knoxville is good as well. i will not be able to attend the game, but i say wartburg will win handely.

i believe that it stands to reason, because wartburg has at least 10 starters out, and they expect to get a majority of them back this week. the defensive line and the offensive lines are very much improved by what i can tell from the game friday night.

if i remember corectly wartburg held sunbright to only 50 yards of offense while racking up close to 300 yards of offense. and scored more touchdowns, not counting the numerous turnovers you had. plus the region you are in is woefully weak compared to wartburgs region. although i think that it is sweet that you believe that your team as the athletes to compare with wartburg, there is just no way that a school that as has a kindergarden in the same building as a high school can have a good football team. I believe we can all agree that warburg has a huge upswing next year, with most of it's starters returning, and being in a much weaker region. the only team that can challenge wartburg is onieda. sunbright, oakdale, and coalfield all have kindergardens in their highschool. so they will continue their down spiral, and sunbright will be sunbright and be happy winning a couple of games. In a nut shell, dumbright will continue their tradition of losing and graduating convenient store clerks.

they may be good, and i do not know who that coach is with the national champ. rings, or where he played his ball at, or what he does for wartburg. all i am saying is that i have been to a couple of games and the crowd is dead. it is like they are waiting for the team to get beat.why does the crowd not get behind the team and make some loud noise and pump up the kids. they must realize how important to the team they are. they can literally be a 12 th man if they wanted to.

i thought wartburg was supposed to have these new coaches that were supposed to be so good, i heard that one even played college and got a national champ ring. i guess it goes to show you just because you play college football don't mean you are a good coach.
