  1. He's a junior. Pretty good. Very athletic.
  2. I read somewhere that this is the last year of 8 AAA. What's happening?
  3. Coffee Co.'s Cory Keeling blocked a potential game winning shot and saved it before it went out of bounds with very little time remaining. Warren Co.'s coach argued that they should get the ball back with 0.2 seconds left. He got it. But thats barely enough time for a tip in.
  4. Between Tullahoma, Franklin Co, and Coffee Co I think one of those teams can manage at least one upset.
  5. Don't know a whole lot about them.. I'm guessing they'll finish in the bottom half of the district. Only because the Franklin Co, Tullahoma, Columbia, and even Coffee Co have so much upside.. Coffee plays Boyd Christian tonight. Should be a beat down. We'll finally get to see Holmes' improvement from last season.
  6. I was referring to the individual football players.. But you've got a good point. The Raiders seemed like they played pretty good without Dallas. If they would have made some free throws they could have beaten this team. Wasn't Wilson Central #9 in the state going into last night?? Either way, the Raiders showed some promise. Especially Jarrell, scoring the teams first 7 points.
  7. I agree, plus they have depth. Maybe, not on the inside, but overall.
  8. They'll still have some of their talent in football. Jones could be an all district point guard this year with his ability to penetrate and score or dish it off. Miller began to show some potential at the end of last season. And Keeling, he'll go as far as Coach Taylor will let him.. But it helps Coffee County that most of their players are already in the gym, not on the football field. Don't think they're planning on any playoff run in coffee county though, so those kids will be in there soon enough.
  9. Coffee County graduated six seniors. However they only lost one game all summer, while holding every team (except the team that beat them) to 30 points or fewer. Dallas Holmes is the only post player with any real varsity experience. But he has the ability to drop 30 on any given night. Still, "cautiously optimistic" is probably the best way to put it. But on the positive side, it would be difficult for them to win less than they did in the last two years.
