  1. It's time to move on to this week. The season is underway and both teams are coming off losses. Which Team will bounce back, and bring the Cow Bell home for another year? I haven't heard much on Lawrence Co., but I do know Giles is young and has a lot of work cut out for them. The Team and Coaches, at Giles, are capable of of pulling it together. I see Giles pulling this one out. GO BOBCATS!!
  2. The sign of a good coach is their work ethics. I'm sure any coach listed here works hard, and put's in many overtime hours. That's what makes them good. They're dedicated to the sport, and love what they do. Each Coach listed so far, I feel are great coaches. My bid goes to Coach O'Connor, in Giles County. O'Connor, along with his Staff, work hard, are dedicated, and put in countless hours.
  3. My hat goes off to the Falcons Staff and Team. Good luck to you guy's this season.
  4. Here's an article some may want to read. Fire is fueled in Friday Night battle at M.T.S. quote on OC turning down LCHS job from the article: "Many comments throughout the community went negative on O'Connor's lack of commitment. One of the more popular seemed to be "they call him 'Punk' for a reason" - additional speculation said O'Connor used the opportunity to get a better deal at Giles Co. Given the benefit the change in the City system as the cause it leaves question as to the whether O'Connors commitment was high enough to compete. O'Connor's heart may not have been in it from the beginning." No need of name calling, we got him and his staff. OC along with his staff work hard, and are dedicated to the program. No one points finger's at someone for making a job change. It's a job, and the entire Giles County Coaching Staff, put's in way more hours then the average coach. This will show in tonight's game. GO BOBCATS! Thanks to the coaching staff and the Team for all the hard work, and dedication.
  5. Good luck to the Tigers tomorrow night. I see them pulling out their first win of the season.
  6. One thing I do know, is that he has yet to beat Giles Co. Even when he had Dont'a Hightower, Giles brought a Soph. QB into Marshall Co. and won. So, Coach Thomas wants this win. It's going to be a good game, and both teams are eager to start the season. I see Giles pulling this one out.
  7. Almost forgot. Not only are they both good coaches, but they both have been good friends since 3rd grade, and teammates on the 82 Lincoln Co. State team and the 84 team that went 8 games before ever being scored on. Can't wait till Friday night, it's going to be one heck of a game. GO BOBCAT'S!!!!!!!
  8. Last game of the season, and the one I think all of us at Giles want the most. Two great coaching staff's face off. What do you think the outcome will be?
  9. Way to go Bobcats. Got to work on penalties. We had 3 TD's called back due to penalties. In a blowout, that doesn't matter, but in a close game, it does. Welcome to our District Hickman Co.
  10. W/O doubt golddust is an idiot. Bobcats win big!! Other teams need to worry about making it to the second round, cause Giles will be there, waiting to serve up a dish of defeat. GO BOBCATS!
