  1. Let me be the first to wish you good luck on your journey up to Johnson City. I hope Farragut is able to avoid ultimate destruction at the hands of Science Hill.
  2. Wow. All four District 4 teams move on in the Region tournament. Congrats to William Blount. They put a beat down on Campbell County.
  3. It was a great game tonight that will go down as a classic in the rivalry. Jai Jai was incredible. She took over the game, especially in overtime. Farragut hit some huge shots. Overton kept stepping out and bombing threes. I think it was Blevins that hit a clutch one that cut the Bearden lead to 1 late in OT. Bearden's offense was keyed by Jai Jai but they had some really big defensive performances by other players. The supporting cast also hit some timely shots that were big. It was a really well played, physical game. ladadad just sounds pathetic now. I thought it was funny at first, but now it's just old. Farragut fans have class. You, on the other hand, do not.
  4. Congrats to Farragut. They played really well. Interesting that the road team won both matchups this year.
  5. We are both right on the records. You counted 6 previous years not counting this year. I counted this year and the previous 5, for 6 total. I did include FHS's district tourney win. My main point was just that this is a healthy rivalry. Ladadad implied the opposite. Farragut and Bearden are both good programs and it should be a good game Friday. As for Ladadad: I love the spin. He/She can take anything and spin it in FHS's favorite. I really enjoyed the last post. Basketball is a postseason sport but Bearden deserves credit for winning the regular season championship. They have been the best team over the course of 14 games. As for the postseason, it should be fun...
  6. "Another dominant run through the postseason" What does that even mean? FHS's last championship of any kind was 2008. And that wasn't a dominant team. "That team to the East on the other hand, will be worn down, beat up, and demoralized by a 15 point loss to Maryville, which our Lady Reb friends tell us, is a sure thing!" Bearden beat Maryville by 21 and it was never in doubt. Bearden clinched the regular season championship. "It is kind of a shame, but our rivalry with the Lady Dawgs is, once more, virtually at an end." You do realize that Bearden is 7-5 against Farragut in the last six years? I guess you don't. You seem to only remember last year. I really don't mind the arrogant trash talking. But when you attempt to post something factual, try a little harder to get it right.
