well unless anything has changed in tuckers mind about basketball after having such a great yr, he might not be returning next year. He has told me personally that if he gets a worthy enough football scholarship that after his senior football season he will just continue to work on football. I hope he gets the scholarship in football he wants and deserves but i just hope he stll plays roundball also. If he doesnt play then i dont see them making state without him.

they are not tall... they are a fast team. you heard wrong. both teams like to push the tempo. gonna be a fast paced game. well stown slowed it down against pc but thats cause mercer is prolly fastest and most explosive off the dribble in the state, but outside of them they love to run n gun. im taking stown in a close game 5 points or fewer.

Im going to go with the speed of mercer on a big court The perry co vikings is gonna be the winner, which is just my opinion. We all know whats that is worth lol.. i dont know much about clay co but i am just having faith in my vikings good luck boys!

If PC pulls it out in CA, which is the upset i have called sense they lost in the region championship. I would say that they can at-least make it to final 4.. then IF they make it to championship game i would call it a W. now that is just 1 mans opinion who no1 will agree with prolly but just felt the need to it put in my 2 cents.

hey i really couldnt give you this detailed, my last detailed of them was best i can give. i havent seen them play sense last yr. Im going by what i know for sure the main details are. @WindUpBird said it great, though. They are a well dispersing team who can hurt you from anywhere. They are really good from any position on the floor, but only if the teams mind is right and taking energy from Bubba. I know they sound like a mini superteam lol but hey thats why they have a home substate game. BUT Mcewen IS capable of beating them if they force the tempo they are most comfortable with. Im a 12A fan but not an unrealistic fan where i think they are "unstoppable" (which some posters have proposed in other forums). Mcewen comes out and plays to their ability and Summertown to theirs we are gonna have a "Heavyweight Fight" in the barn come monday night

Well i played for pc last yr i graduated but yeh i know alot about them. friends with 3 of stown starters. Summertown is an up-tempo team (and good at it). they love the dribble drive motion offense. very good bball iq. as in personal this is what i can say about their main players. #12 Bubba Clifton- VERY good handles and court vision. Can shoot 3s if open, like floaters and off balance shots going towards rim (and good at hitting them. quick defender and likes to get on the pg hip to push tempo. Best player on the team. #24 Eli Mathews- Very great defender. quick, good with the ball and streaky shooter. hit 6 3's on pc. Jordan Chard- Dead on 3 shooter. dont let this kid get to feeling it. strong kid, can finish on drive. then throw in your role players (who are good at their role) and score score score. thats their mentality.

I dont know much about this years mcewen team but i saw them in substate last year against WC but i hear they havent lost much and just gotten better. Im expecting to see a good game, but i am still taking summertown by 7 to 10 points. thats just the advantage the barn (their gym) gives summertown.

Well i didnt want to beat a dead horse. Everyone knows they are a great ball team, they are hosting substate.

Perry County- Now i am calling upset of the year in basketball. The key to this game I would say is gonna be Dray Mercer. He is gonna have to get the ball in transition and turn on the ole "Johnny Rockets" he is gonna have to get out and get to the basket quick. Outside of the transition i say its gonna have to be Cannon Rhodes and Taylor Dill to step up be confident and knock down the shots they are capable of. Rhodes has the 3 ball and Dill has a great jumper and can get to the basket. Now the defensive players who will need to show up (besides obviously everyone) but the "Heart of the D" is gonna have to be Jacob Tucker having a good game in boxing out and taking the charges that are in the Tucker blood. Also Garrett Hill i think will need to be in the ball handlers jock strap all night long making it tough for him to do anything. Hill also needs to distribute the ball on the offensive end with great decisions. The role players in Gilboy and the smaller roles the other players play will also need to be nearly flawless. Well that is the prediction i have and i believe the PC team is gonna be highly prepared and well coached with a great strategy by Kirk Haston. If there is a coach who can put together a great strategy, hype up his team, and get the teams mind right i would trust kirk. Well i know i put out a very detailed and nearly explained a perfect game for the Vikings but thats what its gonna take to upset the "best" in 1A, a perfect game from your very own Perry County Vikings.

Congrats to both Eagles and Vikings for an outstanding year thus far. Good luck to both of yall in substate. Now on to my substate prediction for S-Town- Its on their home floor and that is the biggest thing they have on their side in my opinion. It is gonna be the loudest gym in the state, your closed in on a small court, the energy in the barn is unbelievable and ALMOST impossible to snag a win in especially one with the stakes as high as this.

Well things are going as i saw them going, well other than pc edging summertown (didnt think they had it in them the 1st time around just right outta football, but job well done men). I believe the 2 teams in the district that actually have a chance at state is summertown n pc. stown is very quick and can score in bunches but showed their weakness against pc, inside the paint. The wayne co Rice's oh excuse me Wayne County Rice, can u say G-A-R-B-A-G-E!!! i mean really does everyone bow down to every1 and wait on rice to come into the picture? they completely got mud stomped by stown. and hearsay is that tyler really dont care about it this year, just glad he got that football scholarship i suppose. Also like i said at the beginning of the year, THE KID IS UNCOACHABLE!!! and willard wont be able to do a thing with him, of course just with raw talent he will win some games and make it interesting later on but when it boils down to it and tournament time they wont beat stown or pc. but collinwood and the others are really what i expected this year.
