Scruggs can rebound and post against small people. Is is a lanky 6'3. Not very stong. Xavior isn't too experienced, but decent. I still say West Carroll by atleast 10 over Big Sandy. It will be a good game though.

He does too have help. He has Clint McClain who is a pretty good basketball player. But outside of those 2, there is no one to help. I think if it came down to what you are talking about in 13A-14A, West Carroll would run 3rd.

I like Lewis County by just about as many as they want. Good luck to Waverly in walking off the field after this one.

I'll take Camden by a touchdown! I hope we pull it out or it'll be basketball season for some. lol

I think they lost a guard. that may be it?? Maybe one or two more but I don't think they were important factors. They have to replace a guard who was kinda thrown into the starting spot with the Weed transfer to our school..

Next up for Waverly: Basketball season.

That was not even close to Camden's best. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> We are more than slightly better than Waverly. We showed it last night by beating you by a couple TD's while playing crappy. You keep on and on about the onside kick call and pass interference call, but there was bad calls both ways. We can bring up the off setting face mask penalty called on Andy and the defender. Andy simply stiff armed him. That could have gave us yardage. There was a good amount of late hits by Waverly's defense that was never called. The calls went both ways all game. They helped and hurt both teams. You can never blame a game on refs. If you are the better team then you will win no matter what the refs are out there doing. Simple as that. bad passing and dumb turn overs lost Waverly the game. On top of being the worse team. I understand you do radio for Waverly but that is a low blow and cheap degrading shot to say something like you did. "Camden and the zebras...." I am pretty positive Flash Melton over our way would never do something like that. Deal with the loss and move on.

Obviously I will have biased opinions on this team considering I play for them, but what do you guys think? District: Bolivar Chester County Camden Lexington* McNairy* South Side* *=Kind of up for grabs Non-District: We shouldn't lose a game at all. Ok.. That makes more sense. if a coach has any experience and he became a problem from behind the arch, you could just run a box and 1 on him and it will basically eliminate him from being a big scoring threat.

I agree with James being a great player. He is a friend of mine and all but I just don't see anyone on Big Sandy's team that will put a stop to Thomas. Their best defender is James and he can't really be put on a center. He'll have to guard clint and that leaves who for Greer? Cox or Foust? Foust just flat out won't be able to guard Greer due to speed issues and Cox isn't a post defender to stop him down low and his cuts he makes. I think it will be a fun game to watch and I will prolly be there to one of them atleast. But I just have to go with West Carrol on that one. No one else in district compares to these two teams.. And if you think you do, you have a lot to prove this year.

Another thing to show how many Camden fans there was there... Our band didn't have anywhere to sit when they came over before the game started. the bleachers designated for them was full along with the ones they ended up sitting at. They had to have some of our fans move from the bleachers so that they could sit down. I ended up going over to Waverly side with a bunch others because of the room restraints there was on our side. Seeing how the game was so important to both sides, I would figure Wavo would turn out a lot more people. I heard more cheering for Waverly's band than I did for the football team.

Very true! We was not a very sound defensive team last year and even we held him to minimal points. I look forward to playing him this year at Riverside.
