Wow, what can I say? What an awesome game against fierce opponents. I loved the excitement in the air tonight....truly enjoyed hosting the Raptors. I simply wanted to be the first to congratulate HHS on their win. Commando Pride!

I'll second it. Don't even know him but you seem to be a very knowledgeable poster. As for the o whoa is me. That was the tone of my comment but in no way is that what we actually think. We have a good team and a good coaching staff. I just don't think everyone else knows it yet. We have been the underdog in our last 3 region games and from a majority of the post this week we are underdogs. Sorta used to it and sorta liking it. That is if the results keep being the same. First of all I'm not sure where you get the misguided impression that I'm some stuck at home miserable mom. I guess you just make that assumption because I'm female....well you know what they say about assumptions. As far as my ability to multitask, I feel that I've done so quite well. So far today I've gone into work at the company I own, taken my daughter to the orthodontist, had lunch, typed on MY blackberry, and made you just angry enough to start listing out all of your many accomplishments, AGAIN. HAHAHAHAA!!!! As far as the name calling goes...I don't believe I ever called you a name. I simply made an observation. As for my prediction for the game, I will state what I have said repeatedly....I'm not sure who will win, but if Hendersonville plays the way they have all season then they will walk away with a victory. Before you start throwing stats around you need to realize that you can't just pick and choose which ones you throw out there. You failed to mention that Ravenwood's offense is ranked 69th and Hendersonville is ranked 31st...our overall ranking is 20th, as opposed to Ravenwood at 33rd. Additionally our power ranking is 30th to Ravenwood's 34th. Putting all that aside, I honestly don't know who will win Friday...I can speculate just like you and everyone else. All I am saying is that I feel that Hendersonville CAN beat Ravenwood if they continue to play as they have thus far. Oh, The website is actually highschoolsports.net Kenneth Massey rankings.

First of all I got my information DIRECTLY from coachT.com on the main page....you oughtta take a look.....and secondly, we didn't play on Friday because we won the Region Championship on THURSDAY! It's amazing to me that you have time to do any research at all with you having to travel and "scout" and such....ha, ha. Maybe you should take the time to work on your sentence structure and spelling since I can't tell where one thought ends and another begins. I find it astonishing that as much time as you spend on Coach T that you haven't found the time to take a a look at the strength of schedule rankings that are so graciously provided. Had you taken the time you would've found that Hendersonville's schedule ranking is eighth....and uh...let me see...oh there it is....Ravenwood's schedule is twentieth. As far as the "no spread huddle, speed, and defensive size" you are refering to, Hendersonville has CONSISTENTLY handled everything that has been thrown at them thus far. The operative word being "consistently"....which, unlike years in the past, Ravenwood is now lacking. So yes, Ravenwood has flashiness and speed...which is fun to watch, but Hendersonville has fundamentals....not as much fun to watch but far more effective on a week in, week out basis. Needless to say, we can't wait to host the Raptors. I'm sure it will be a great game no matter what the outcome. Commando Pride!

Thank you for the backhanded compliment...I think...ha, ha..! But seriously, as a parent who has been to every game, listened to all the talk, and seen all the hard work, I felt it was time to give my son and his team the praise they have earned. By the way my username is merely a joke....you know the old school saying "Word to your mother"?

Well, up to this point I've sat back and simply read what everyone is posting. Such as: Gallatin is gonna come to our field and tear us a new one, Hunters Lane is gonna run all over us, and NOW Ravenwood is faster, better coached, tricky...blah, blah, blah....Oh, and did I mention that we've been accused of cheating by some underinformed lady who not only can't spell but apparently can't read a newspaper either? The sheer volume of negative comments made about Hendersonville is almost laughable. Considering our current record and Region Champion status, I feel that there are many folks out there having a heaping plate full of crow for breakfast, lunch, and dare I say, dinner. Our team has worked with an almost inflexible sense of purpose. They have showed up every gameday with that goal in mind...and have accomplished it nine out of ten times. Did I mention that they have done so with grace, discipline, and humility...something that can't be said about most teams we've played. So, go ahead and continue to call us underdogs, we don't mind. We rest our heads at night with the knowledge that we earned every ounce of respect that everyone is now begrudgingly giving. COMMANDO PRIDE!!
