  1. Central defeats MJ tonight 2-1.
  2. It'll be interesting to see how it comes out. I'm not sure what all criteria they use to figure it out. I was thinking that if it was a fairly simple formula that WC would come out on top. It took Lebanon and Portland 5 games each to beat Wilson Central, but when WC beat them they did it in 3 and 4 games.
  3. It has been over a week since our age group completed tryouts and we're still waiting to find out which team my daughter will be on. I guess the ugly would be how we feel waiting and waiting and... The good is that it should be today though. The bad is probably just what the coaches are going through trying to place so many kids and trying to do it right. I think there were close to 100 girls in our age group alone. If the 10th is the first day clubs can ask for a commitment, what is the longest you can take to commit to them? It doesn't affect us, but I was just curious.
  4. It was a fun game to watch! I'd seen WC play in tournaments this year, but not yet at home due to my own daughter's middle school season. The girls seemed quite tickled sometimes at the antics of their young fans. At one point my son told me the boys were talking about painting up full blue and gold. Good luck today and congratulations to the seniors!
  5. We attended tryouts for two clubs. This would be girls in the younger age groups. Was surprised to see turnout of three times as many girls at one club vs. the other. Now the dilemma... play at the club where she will most definitely make one of the top two teams, or play for the club where she'll probably end up middle of the pack? /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> I just don't know if it's better for her to be on a team where she'll probably sit the bench more, but practice and play in more tournaments or to be on a team where she'll be either one of the best or equal to her teammates, but practice one less time per week and play fewer tournaments. I suppose there are arguments for both. We are definitely excited that club ball is starting again!
