  1. It was guaranteed last year and two years ago I guess we'll see. I say find another venue. Let's think about it. They did it to us once shame on them. Do it to use twice shame on us. If they do it to us three times we're all idiots /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
  2. All right, come on, where they at....... /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  3. I think there will be some fingers broken due to the arm bands.
  4. I agree it is rediculous to lose his temper like that over something so pointless. However what I said was this season he had always been a class act and he has.
  5. I only saw the last few seconds. He was hit with a stalling call and then it was over due to points. I didn't understand the stalling call and I guess he didn't either. He has always been a class act kid from what I've seen. Yes aggresive and confident but never have attitude in any way. However that is just when I have seen him wrestler maybe 12 times.
  6. That is a little excessive attire for the finals don't you think.
  7. Chancey was dq'd from the tournament. At the end of his semi final match after teching the kid. He jerked his hand out of the refs hand. The ref called a technical (warrented). After that he walked across the mat and threw his headgear up against the bleachers. The ref saw it and called another technical. two technicals equal a DQ. Was the insident as a whole warrenting of a DQ (NO) However the first techinical was warrented considering his actions. The second is non negotiable. In the rule book it says throwing the headgear is a technical. The ref saw it, everyone saw it (it sounded like a gun shot). The letter of the law makes it a DQ. It is a crying shame that he was DQ'd. He is a fine young man that I have had many pleasant conversations with. It was a terrible lesson to learn especially considering it was in reaction to a match the he tech'd and completely dominated the kid. Nice kid, I wish him the best. I know this will haunt him.
  8. So does anyone have any real results from regions.
  9. Welllllll..... Anyone..... Any seeds... Come on Mick you should have something to say.
  10. I am me.... /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  11. Me Me Me!!!! I'm gonna win it all!! All I tell you!! Alllllllll!!!!! /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />
  12. I don't agree with rotating. It needs to be in a location that can consistantly put on a good tournament. That location previously was in Chatttown but they no longer are able to provide an adequate tournament.
  13. Don't you'ins get caught. I heard a fellar tried last yeer. When they caught him they took him back in the practice room and worked him over somethen awful. Blood on the walls and everythin. It was quite a sight. Thats the real reason they didn't let no body back there to warm up last year. Gawd ernest truth. I swear.
  14. What is their other option. They can't bring in power bars or anything to drink to down after weigh-ins. Their only option is get the junk they sell.
  15. I hate that it forces the wrestlers to eat the crap food they have there.
  16. I hate this change. The attendance will be lower because fewer people will be willing to take vacation to attend.
  17. Why would you lose your captains spot for wanting to wrestling? Or a better question would be why didn't ya'll quit being captains.
  18. Your kidding me. I've never heard of that before. I'm speachless.
  19. I think that would open up a whole can of liability worms but I'm not a coach so I guess it is worth a shot.
  20. That wasn't part of the original post. It was edited in later.
  21. I'm not trying to discorage just trying to prepare him. Its the same thing I tell any kid or older person that is thinking about getting into wrestling. Everyone starts out humble and you should be prepared for that. Wrestling isn't a sport that a guy off the street has instant success at.
  22. You would need to find a club team to join. They usually start in March. Check themat.com or tennwrestling.com for a list of teams. 17 is a bit late to start. Wrestling is a learned sport. No one starts out being good and rarely even average. Not trying to discourage you but it is doubtful that you would win any matches for quite some time. Good Luck /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
  23. Your kidding me. Who was he wrestling and was he winning at that point.
  24. Herold from MW looked good. He beat Bennett and gave Usary a close match.
