  1. It's pretty evident to me that, after considering all of these numbers, that the team with the most points at the end of the game will win.
  2. I really hate you guys lost. I wanted us both to be 9-0 when we meet for game 10. With White House having an off year, I was a little surprised.
  3. I couldn't agree more. I also have to say that the whole county has gotten behind our Tigers and helped promote our football program. I'd name names but there's just too many to mention. We love our coaches, our football cheerleaders, our band, and especially our hard-working players.
  4. Hixson always has some good athletes and coaching is probably better. We will take this game as serious as any other game we play this season. Safe travels to the Wildcats as they come to DeKalb this Friday. Looking forward to a good game with no injuries.
  5. No but you can sell me one now. I feel like celebrating.
  6. We are a 4a school. I guess 'small' is relative. lol The future's lookin' bright on the hill.
  7. Hey Wise. I'm fast becoming a big fan of yours. Thanks for the mention. Maybe Giles and DeKalb can bump heads in the playoffs again. Good luck this season and hope your boys stay healthy.
  8. Hey Croz. I never heard how G'ville's scrimmage with Livingston went. Do you or any others have any input on the game? My heart stops whenever any of the boys don't get up after a play, don't matter who's team they are on. Best wishes to your player that got hurt. Good luck to you guys this season. I'd sure love to see a neighbor hold up that gold ball this year.
  9. DeKalb hosts Warren Co for the first game of the season. I've heard Warren Co expects to head home with a win. With the outstanding pre-season success of our Tigers, I don't see it. Of course, no one knows a lot before the first game, but what does everyone else think? Let's hear your predictions. Go Tigers!
  10. DeKalb is going to Watertown tonight, but I'm ready for the real thing. Looking forward to the first game.
  11. I can't wait for the season to start either.
  12. Moonshiner: "Yens do know we're speaking on football don't yens? Yens don't seem to suspect nothing. Smith in 3rd??? I ain't done sold you a jug have I ?" Time will tell, Moonshiner. Time will tell.
  13. DeKalb played very solid against a good Gordonsville team Friday night. How are the other District 8 AA teams looking while playing their scrimmages?
  14. DeKalb Livingston Smith York Upperman Cannon
  15. Saw on their website that DeKalb is scrimmaging Gordonsville this Friday. Anybody know how Gordonsville is shaping up for this season? In the past, they have always put together a good team. That should be good preparation for DeKalb.
  16. I'm talking about Tennessee Tech's Watson Brown 7 on 7. Here's what I found... http://www.watsonbrownfootballcamp.com/2012-watson-brown-7-on-7-football-camp.
  17. Saw on their website where DeKalb Co Tigers finished 5-0. Can't find anything else about it. Who all was there and how did they do? Anybody know?
  18. I haven't heard of Poteete playing anywhere. Don't know about the White House scrimmage. I heard they looked good at the Goodpasture scrimmage. Not loosing many players, they should do very well this season.
  19. That is truly sad news. Thoughts and prayers for the family are being sent up from DeKalb County. I know that we are scheduled to scrimmage in about a month. It grieves me to think that one player will not be joining his fellow teammates.
  20. Not much to talk about... I think the fans should keep their 'I hate DeKalb' shirts at home and keep their team flag on their side of the field. It's okay to encourage your team to play to their full potential and loose with dignity instead of spewing a bunch of hate and acting like you have no class.
  21. An historic win at Warren County was a great way to start the season. I agree, there were too many dropped passes, missed tackles and some useless penalties but that's what weekday practice is for. This game could have easily been a 35-0 shutout. Tigers will only get better and stronger. Congrats to Coach Trapp, his staff and our mighty Tigers for a well deserved win.
  22. Dekalb won't be able to run the ball? I guess we shall see.
  23. TIGER PRIDE will rock Friday night! GO TIGERS!!!
