  1. Well Butchie Im glad to see that you have an opinion on..... well..... everything! And once again I thank you for helping to motivate our guys. Not that they need help mind you. Playing The Rebels is one game they look forward to no matter how many times a year we play. As far as Colton Speed is concerned I am very proud of our boy. But ya know he's not the only Tornado "on the ground"! We know our last several games have been against lesser competition. For that matter they don't belong om the same field with either Mc or Uc. In week 4 our guys were still learning all the aspects of the midline veer offense and are still learning. This aint tha same team. I watch film every night with my son who plays on the team. We should have scored 2 more times in week 4. And after watching that game(4) this week again, 3 times already, you are right about the Rebels stunting and doing better all but shutting us down. But we crossed the fifty twice. Once Speed was breaking away and made a cut in the open field and fell down.(shudda scored) I just can't wait! And I promise to congratulate The Rebels if they win and wish you luck in 2A.
  2. Butchie I love this stuff. It's why football is the greatest game in the world. I love the smack, I love the rivallry, I love the tradition. I can't wait to see who goes to the house and who goes to the 3rd round. There will be plenty of emotion to go around. I just want there to be no crying about officials hurt players or any other circumstances. Let the winners be the winners and accept the hand we are dealt. We all have calls that we didn't like, actions that were poor and decisions we wish we could do over. The thing is that the two best teams in the west 1A will be doing battle friday night, a game that should truly be saved for later rounds, and it can only be imagined as to what could have been for the looser. But if you guys want to know I'll be glad to keep you posted. Good luck!
  3. its gonna be a physical ball game from both teams don't get me wrong but hype only lasts a few plays and then it boils down to who wants it more
  4. bring 'em... bring 'em all... the more the better.... the bigger they are the harder they fall (by the way, we do have some good food) /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  5. Same here on the 7A... best luck to rebs too.... revised score Union City- 24 Mckenzie-14
  6. you obviously haven't been playing UC's defense either... or their offense... or their special teams. Completely dominant in their last 5 games. Union City has been been running over, around, and through every single one of their last 5 oppenents... mostly over. Being in the weight room everyday after practice all year has really helped the Union City players continue to get stronger while other teams "throw it out" once the season starts... Union City has a heck of a lot more strength that McK and that is a direct result of staying in the weight room... You talk about revenge a lot too... Union City feels that they didn't finish the job that they started in Week 4 and all of the players have to the website mckenzierebels.com website where the controversal issues are talked about in the meeting between the teams. UC feels disrespected and they should... especially after the rebel players DIDN'T EVEN SHAKE THEIR HANDS AFTER THE GAME!!!!!!!! I mean do you guys have some kind of unrealistic view about yourselves or what?! I don't know if u have realized it yet but u can be beat and u will be beat on friday by a bunch of upset off Tornados who feel like that they have to make another point on your fine lil' ball team.... Be lookin for man-child Ronnie Fair, lightning-quick fire plug Trey Maddox..... Oh yeah, and Josh Nicks is gonna plow over your little redneck ######.... i honostly feel sorry for the rebel moms because of what we are gonna do to their precious baby boys May the best man win.... but the best goes to Union City Union City- 35 McKenzie- 14
  7. You know, Butchie, we love to hear all this fluke talk up here in the land of the Tornadoes. It really inspires our guys. We've seen the web page devoted to the phantom hold. The "photographic proof" as someone called it, not to mention the out right disrespect shown to our players after the game with some Rebels players refusing to shake our guys' hands. In Game 4 we gave the Rebels every opportunity to win. We fumbled 6 times and lost 4 of them. We also gave up an interception. That's 5 turnovers. As far as penalties are concerned, we had over 70 yards as well. Your penalty yardage wouldn't have been so high if your coach hadn't have lost his cool and made the way for one of his players to do the same. Until our previous meeting no one had scored a point on your defense. We put up 21 straight. That was enough. I'm just amused by the fact that you guys had so many other chances to take advantage of our mistakes, but you would rather blame officials. This is a fact to consider. If a team gives you as many chances as Union City did, and you still lose, you can't blame anyone but yourself. Or....... You could admit you were beaten by a more determined team that almost beat you the year before. We showed character by overcoming those mistakes in that game, and our guys won. Thank you for the motivation. Keep it coming! /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
