but honestly they stayed hot in the fourth quarter as well....they scored 23 points,lipscomb just scored 43 haha. i pick marshal to win this one if they can keep nailing the threes...i dont know if anyone saw the cpa marshal game but it was one of the most unbelievable things i have ever seen...besides caleb simpson hitting every shot he took for the mustangs in the region championship the next night....unbelievable

maybe he was just picking a choosing when to drive, and obviously doing a good job of it....soo good of a job that cpa stopped trying to guard it. why would lipscomb get out of an offense that was working so well just cause cpa wouldn't guard them? seems to make perfectly good sense to me to stand there until guarded rather than comply and run the offense cpa wanted them to run...

lipscombs "stall" as it was called, is not actually a stall at all. They just simply spread out the floor and use there best atheletes and attack. and this offense cannot actually be guarded by cpa, which was shown in last years district finals game. The reason it turned into a stall was becuase cpa could not guard it by any means. 3 different people guarded caleb simpson in the first quarter.when caleb couldnt get a drive he would throw to evan webb who would blow by z.the fact of the matter is that cpa cant guard this offense. so they stopped trying. they sat back and just let lipscomb stand there. cpa was the team that turned that game into a stall last year...not lipscomb. dont babble on about how terrible it is to watch lipscomb hold the ball when cpa wont even play defense

i on the other hand would not take anderson miller and mason, i would take sanderson simpson and webb(who did not play last game) any day. and no i do not have personal interest for anybody on any team...i think if webb plays it makes a huge difference and DL wins this district

i agree that Caleb Simpson is a great talent, but i would love to see him take more shots. i saw him score 30 two games in a row this summer at an aau tournament. moybe it is mcpherson holding him back? dont know how to explain it but i feel like he needs to look to be a scorer more instead of just a passer(which he is also one of the best in the state at)

i have sat back and read a lot of comments about how christian schools dont let EVERY kid in... here is an answer for you. how about the fact that our government does not allow the studying of the Bible in public schools. therefore the only way to have this ability would be a private school. such as lipscomb. therefore meaning private christian schools must charge tuition to fund money for the school since the government does not. yes this leaves people out who are not willing or are not able to pay the tuition for their child to attend the christian schools. i agree that it is sad that not every christian kid can not attend a school where they can study the word of God everyday openly with other students.

what big pool might you be speaking of? lipscomb's pep band is one of the best in the state. now the football team... it is hard to say the same. since moving up to 3A each kid represents more than 2 and a half people per kid. which means giles co. and others have the "bigger pool" to choose from. and another thing. since lipscomb "recruits", dont you think it would be hard to get kids to come to your school when you have the college campuses of MBA and Ensworth to fight against. not to mention the almighty powerhouse of BA.. but then again, maybe the 2 and a half kid is the advantage for lipscomb players

here is my prediction, ol coach mc not only got a gameplan from coacht... he also talked to Coach Red Beaulieu from the University of Louisiana Cougars. If lipscomb wants a chance in this game they must kneel the ball 3 plays every posession then give it to that rogers kid for a score. maybe that will help them control the clock a little better
