My heart and prayers goes out to the Collett's......I herd and read about the card that coach rankin and the players sent over!!..... it is true u can be a dominating force and still have a great class act ... and out of my 4 years as a Warriors i had never played such a great/classy team.... hats off to coach rankin and the alcoa community i am sure the Collett's are very appreciative of your support as well!!!......as for the game...i believe it will be hard for the warriors to win if they cant get alcoa's time of possesion down from what it was 2 weeks ago at 34 min ( i believe)... it is hard to beat any team that controls the clock like that and follows up with points ...to me in this game the key in this game is who ever controls the clock.... if cak can keep the time of possesion pretty fair. . they may have one of their better chances to ever beat alcoa!!...good luck to both teams...... O I am Sorry My friend but it is hard to beat the too hype chant...... as a former player for the Warriors I will admit for the first 3 years it was intimidating.... as for my senor year it only got me more pumped... may have been were i just had herd it for a while or i was just that ampted up to play. But the Too Hype is a unrivaled chant!! ......As i recall I believe we gave Alcoa a little scare last year for a while!! As much as I wanted to beat them last season ( I really felt like it was our best chances for awhile) I have nothing but respect for Alcoa's coaches and players and most of the fans are extremly nice. I attended the Loudon playoff game @ Alcoa and I had multiple fans come up to us and say well we got past you guys, i guess we won state again.. I believe if it hadnt been for Cobb in 07 CAK wins there first state title.............................. Now as far as the game goes. I really believe this may be one of the best atmospheres in high school football i have ever seen. Alcoas' win over maryville is extremely impressive not just because its maryville but the fact that maryville blanked bearden beat catholic and farragut. Just shows me that the youngish team from 08has grow up and can play some serious ball now!! from what i have herd Alcoa is week in the past but #89 can play some football!! ..... As for cak we were not extremely young last year however we were EXTREMELY inexperienced!!...This 09 team has played alot of ball!!! I am not giving a score but i will say that caks D line maybe the best that has ever came threw CAK !! The ILB have some good playtime ! for a first year quarterback 2 is doing a outstanding job!! and with Mead coming back last week i believe the receivers are very solid after loosing 3 starters last year.......This has potential to be a very interesting game .......GO WARRIORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have herd this is one of the toughest alcoa teams in the past 4 years...which i know could be true.. that D they had last year may have been the best in the entire state!I have not had the chance to see alcoa play this year! but they beat maryville and maryville has had another fantastic year with beating farragut bearden and catholic along with being i think 2nd in the state. ....but i know u cant go by who beats who.. but as a hardcore warrior fan i know that this is going to be the ultimate test of the year. just like it always has been ... and as a former warrior i cant express how much this program wants to knock off the tornadoes ..... this should be one of the best high school atmospheres i have seen in a long long time.....GO WARRIORS!!!!! and alcoa fans i am missing the pictures like u guys did last year

I have ehrd some stuff about Seq. ... the things i have herd is that cak should have no problem with them. I think i leave the field every friday more and more impressed with the warriors! they have really surprised me this season. and as a alumni i am very proud to see the boys are taking care of business

im glad to here that Danny is doing alot better! is there a possible chan he will be able to play again. My prayers go to the Mead family as welll with his tore kidney surgery repair!!.... i think this is CAK's first big test . GO WARRIOS!!!!!!!

warriors win big!! if the long trip doesnt tire them out! CAK has a past of traveling long distances and the travel has worn them out ex. ashville in 2006 jefferson county in 2007 and there is another one that i cant remeber but! i think we may have broken that trend last year while traveling to GP and winning plus that was 2 years ago and not quite as long as a drive as some of those places!! i look for CAK huge in this one i say 49 to 7!! with stone scoring late on CAK jv

idk i hear they like to play some funky coverages tho so it will be entertaining to see how bradley decides what plays to run to get threw there D i have herd that seymour will some times put 5 dbs out on the field at once and blitz a line backer and have the other one drop back or pick up the running back man on man while the dbs are in a funky cover 3!! so it will be a great game to watch!! i am excited !! GO WARRIORS!!

i just got back in town and had the chance to read the story that was on Marcus Walker that was in friday mornings prextra section! i have herd this story before but every time i here it! it just seems to touch me!! but the sky is the limit for Marcus and i hope the best for him for football!! and i hope the college stuff goes great for him!! ....but to CAK vs Sey. i personally think it could be really close but i say CAK by 10 or 14!! ... looking for the D to tear it up again!! and with sey. loosing all there starters from D i look for CAK's O to show something different from what we saw there 4 turnovers from last week!!.... players that break out this game i see Blake Houser and Marcus on the D side of the ball!! ........ i cant wait for friday night again!! Go get em boys!!.. GO WARRIORS !!!!!!!!!!

yes we had many mistakes and if we play like that every week we will be in some trouble but are D really helped out im not to sure who lead the team in tackles i would say it was probably between 44,45,67.... however i do know that 44 had great stats which i stated in my other post.. but matthew smith #45 also had around 7 sacks and i think he caused 2 fumbles ....so kudos to the D for keeping them in the game!! due to 4 turnovers on the offensive side of the ball the D had to step up!! which i thought they would be a strong point anyways!!! but now we must wait another week for gameday!! but best of luck to the Warriors and my prayers go out to the families and players of sulivan south team!! GO WARRIORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was not that impressed with grace!! CAK had 5 turnovers in the game!! well 1 was off a grace turnover but still!! if the Warriors play like that every week in 3a it is going to be hard to stay with some teams... i was very impressed with Burton and Walker offensively!! Quinn looked very confident in himself even after throwing some pics!! The one throw that he hooked up with Mead near the end of the fourth quarter really sealed the game!! the defense was fantastic as expected!! i was really impressed in Ech #44 all besides the fact that i believe he had some penalties along with his fumble!! but played a outstanding game with a interception and along with i believe the most tackles on the team!! kudos to the 4's!! Fortner #67 also played a heck of a game on both sides of the ball!!.......main focus for next week should be BALL PROTECTION!!! but great jobs to the warriors and ill see u guys next week at home after we pukk in another W!!! GO WARRIORS!!!

this was such a bitter taste !! i would hope they remember it , and they change the out come for tonight which i think they will

i would agree with both of the last 2 comments!! i would say after grace gets the stomping that we should give them.. that there silence will break and will probably accuse us of running up the score!!

im really looking forward to friday night these boards are making it to become a pretty intense game!
