Huntland looked okay against Loretto. I think the score was 4 to 1.

Maybe the best facility but not the best field. And of it will make it easier for you, the Culleoka field is only a couple years old and was started from just that...a cow pasture. So i would say it as come a long way. Just give it a little time.

Glad i was right about the cow pasture. it may only be 2 years old but it will never be close to huntlands field.

The only thing that could have allowed the tournament to be finished at CA would have been a DOME. And yeah your right, no one wants to make the long trip to Huntland. Especially when there is a chance that it will come a flood as soon as you pull in the parking lot. In 07' there were a couple teams that made the trip 6,7,8 times just to get rained out. Where was the TARP then?!?

Where it was made you highly intelligent person. We didnt have the tarp then if that makes it easier for you to understand. By the way dont spend any money for one to cover the cow pasture that you play on. Huntland has by far the best baseball facility in this district.

People want to be critical of the long drive to huntland. well i agree with a previous poster i have never heard huntlans complain about travel to any other school. as far as hosting a tournament huntland is the only one really capable of hosting a tournament. They have a fence, lights, press box, concession stand, and yes they have a TARP just in case it RAINS. could have played on their field today. richland and ca dont care if they play or not since they would advance as it is anyway. any replys to this would be welcomed with a comment of who else is more capable of hosting a tournament. (richland and ca have already tried, NO TARP) i forgot one positive the nicest restrooms in the district. cleaned and stocked on a daily basis.

mondays games will be at richland, pulaski, or huntland in that order. Hope that all teams wind up at the correct location.

If they had the tournament in Huntland every year, they would still need to find a new location next year.

Any truth that the district tournament has been moved to Huntland. If this is true why would you not just have at Huntland every year if they are the only one who has a tarp. Rain could be a huge problem supposed to rain through Monday. Good luck to all teams. GO HORNETS

about time for spring practice to start. wake up and get ready its almost football time in tennessee again.

PC has a fast team coming back this year. They timed at least 10 players under a 5 flat 40 . 5 were under 4.7 and they are a few that werent timed playing baseball one is the fastest on the team. PC was pretty impressive in weight lifting comp. I think they were 2nd overall and 1st in 1A . thats hard to believe. if its true you guys will be faster than anyone in your district and maybe one of the fastest teams in the state. i know that none of the teams in my area have that many kids under a 4.7.

I will look into my crystal ball and it says that Nick will be the head coach and Justin Bryant and perhaps Paul Conry will the assistants.

Dont havea dog in the race but i know that it is hard to make a schedule when you have been as good as sp has been. coach grider will play anyone i know that. call the other schools see if they wanted to play and u might have an answer.

well i highly doubt that. honestly i think people are hyping up perry county way to much, but i do believe they'll do better than huntland. i do believe yall lost your quarterback right? he was all yall had last year, and he was way over hyped anyways.

who hyped their QB. the coach didnt hype him enough, if he had been at franklin co they would have won more games.

Which board member? Does he have a relative applying for the job? Maybe it is the same board member who "HELPED" select the last coach? Or is it some other board member with an agenda?
