It was a long trip home. The lady hornets scored 2 points in the 2nd quarter. Had many chances to complete a great comeback but could not get a shot to fall. Regroup and get ready for the tourney, you made it a little harder than it could have ben.

Hopr the lady hornets are ready for a long trip and ready to play a great game. A chance to host a district tournament game is on the line. I think the girls will be ready to play. They have played well all year and need to finish strong. My pick is the lady hornets.

Rebelboy probably hasn't seen him play. I've seen where he has hit a bunch of three's this year. He plays very hard and gives a lift to the team every time he is on the floor.

Rebelboy has seen him play quite often during his career. Not a 3 point shooter(19 this year less than 1 a game), not a real threat to score (averages 9 a game). Seems like a great kid, plays reallyhard, great defensive player and rebounder. He probably deserves to be on the all district team but not because of anything he has done on offense.

Please give me some stats on Holts 3 point percentage and i will take back anything i have posted. The games that i have seen other teams will not guard him until he is within 10 feet of the basket. The kid plays hard and might be the best defensive player around, but he is not a threat to score unless right around thebasket.

CL doesn't get a lot of hype. He just goes to work everynight and puts in a solid performance!!!!! He has been doing that ever since he got to Cully.

He should score a few no one ever guards him. Make him past 10 feet and he dont score. Good defensive player.

I was around to see horton dunk in the early 80s, Towrey dunk in the late 80s, Farmer dunk in the 90s, Patton dunk in the 00s, taylor dunk in the 00s, and robertson dunk this year. I was even around when the dunk was made legal and odell crutchfield from tullahoma was the first to dunk in huntlands gym. i dont need a history lesson on huntland basketball...I will say no more about anybody dunking a ball.

Ok, enough with the dunk! Any kid dunking in this district is news whether it was on someone or on a break away. We are now down to the last 2 or 3 games in the district. This is how the season ends:

What happened to Black at Santa Fe

Sorry to offend some of you people but dunks are few and far between in huntland. We were excited. Some of you have never give the kid the respect that he deserves anyway. Again sorry about making yall mad. We were just proud of the dunk.

just watched the tape there was only 1 person contested that contested the dunk.

Huntland will finish 4th if it wins its last two games. (Columbia Academy ans Santa Fe). This district tournament could have some really good games.

Call the coach and ask for the tape. They were not big guys, drove the lane and dunked in traffic. I would not believe it either but i saw it in person.

Huntland QB BJ Robertson will sign with Bethel College. Congratulations BJ work hard you can play that level if you work hard enouogh.

Huntland may be getting back on track for tournament time. Two wins this weekend. Robertson had triple double on senior night at the nest. Also one great dunk over two guys. It got the gym rocking. Pretty good way to go out in your last regular season home game.

Huntland girls played really well especially on defense. The coaches put together a great game plan but the lady hornets just could not get a basket to fall in the fourth quarter. The team is much improved might not want to play them early in the tournament. That upset i was smelling almost happened in the hornets nest. Maybe next time.

Okay i know who you are talking about know now. Pretyy good hitter. You have any stats on this kid as a pitcher other than being left handed and having an okay curve ball, i dont know.

Huntland needs this one really BAD. Need to get back on track and be ready for the tournament. My pick is the Hornets.
