Forrest beat Wayne County and Collinwood in the Wayne County Tournament. They play in the Eagleville Tournament this week.

Forrest played well for 3 quarters. MTCS played well, also. Forrest ended up winning by about 20. Forrests' coach seemed to be mad at his starters and about mid-way through the 1st quarter sat them down and most sat until half time. They played better the second half. MTCS has a couple of starters that are very good and shoot the ball well.

Big game Friday night. Forrest at Moore County. Pope is in a slump shooting the ball for Forrest this year. Maybe he will come out of it soon.

You are correct about overall records. Forrest's record was terrible last year heading into the District tournament and they won it all. I believe anyone is capable of winning the district this year.

Do you see who Forrest lost to? Lebanon, Marshall County, Clarkrange. Have you seen Forrest play? Probably not, and I haven't seen any other district team play. So, be careful with your "predictions".

Who "predicted" that? On the road against Cascade or Forrest is not an automatic win.

I have not seen any of the district teams play this year with the exception of Forrest. They have looked good defensively in most of the games and have beaten Tullahoma twice. Based on last year, I think the top 4 teams you have listed will battle it out once again for first in the district.

Sloppy played game by both teams. I don't know why Clarkrange got out of their zone defense. It slowed the game down and was an advantage for them. Forrest likes to run and couldn't. Oh, well. Good luck to both teams the rest of the year!

Our tallest player is maybe 6'2", sounds like trouble for Forrest.

Forrest returns 4 starters from last year's team. They can get up and down the floor and play good defense. Very quick. However, no height. What does Clarkrange have?

I didn't say anything about Cornersville and top 10. I believe the smallest margin of victory for Forrest out of 3 games was 15 points. Two out of the three games were against AA opposition. Forrest outside shooters weren't hitting at all, I will grant you that, but that will not happen every game. As far as Summertown goes, they are always good. They have one of the best point guards around. We play them twice during the regular season and should be great games.

Forrest should be included in the top 10.

Just a prediction. Nothing written in stone. I thought pre-season last year that Cascade would be heads above everyone. That didn't happen so you never know. Just because you have x amount of starters returning doesn't mean you are going to win it all. Forrest has 5 good starters but only a couple off of the bench who can help consistently.

Forrest and Huntland will battle for 1st. Everyone else is playing for 3rd.
