Rockwood beat Midway tonight 13 to 3. Midway was up through the first three innings and then Rockwood started getting their bats going and playing a lot better defense. Rockwood travels to Oneida tomm. Be safe guys.

yea and on here it says that rockwood beat Oneida by 11 and they beat Sundbright by 12 and Wartburg by 5.

The district play starts for both teams on Monday. How does everyone think these games will be played out? Rockwood is 3-0 and has played Oneida, Sunbright, and Wartburg. Midway is 2-0 and has played Cosby and Oakdale. Im not sure what the scores were but I know thats who they have played. Let me know what everyone thinks.

Well Rockwood is looking pretty good too this year. They only lost one senior that actually played. So they are returning 8 of 9 starters and 7 of the the starters all can pitch. Rockwood also has five freshman coming up and 3 of them can pitch. 2 of the 3 are lible to start a few games for the Tigers. So I look for them to make a district run going into the region tournament. But we have a whole season to worry about before all this tournament stuff. Good Luck Rockwood

That one player made them a much better team. #55 was better than remaining players on the team other than Pridemore and Slusher. If #55 doesn't play, Grace still good, but not as good. Would be able to play off remaining players on the floor and concentrate on Pridemore and Slusher. Still may have won region, but would not have been as solid a team.

yeah well it was not a knee problem it was two knee problems and that something you can not play through no matter how good you are or bad you are. Im sure no im definate that if i wouldn't have had those problems I would have started every game. I just believe you were afraid of the talent we were bringing in from around us and had to run away from us. Im from Rockwood and I realize our year is over and Im not arguing with anyone about that. Coalfield beat us nothing else to it but I will guarantee right now that it will not even be a game next year. Rockwood is coming out hungry next year and they are going after anything in their way. There are gonna be other days!!!

OZ if im right about who you are then I don't even think you got to start most of the year last year at Oliver Springs. You come on here and honestly act like you can lead your team to beat Rockwood. No I don't think its going to be much of a scrimmage. its going to be more like a jv game for Rockwood. Thats alright though it will give the Rockwood varsity players time to get ready for that real game against a real team in week one.

They upset Grace last night 7 to 6 then had to go to Harriman to play in the district championship game. They lost 6 to 1. It was 6 to 0 going into the 5th inning and Rockwood pulled it off in the last two innings to beat Grace. Now they are just waiting to see who they play in the region tournament.

yeah Rockwood got there field ready for the games today. Midway and Rockwood played and Rockwood won 8 to 0. Rockwood was supposed to play Grace at 5:30 but it started raining. Rockwood and Grace will play tomm at 5:30 and Harriman and Greenback play right after. AT ROCKWOOD The Alex Bear kid pitched a good game he only threw 71 pitches in a full game. It looks like he should be good to throw tommorrow in the Grace game if needed. Tyler Skidmore set the pace for Rockwood today with the first a bat of the game with a first pitch homer to center field.

Lookout Valley and Cascade tied Lookout Valley lost to Columbia Academy 3 to 1 Rockwood beat Columbia Academy 7 to 5. Rockwood should have won 7 to 3 but a late inning two run home run brought it to 7 to 5. The Skidmore kid pitched a heck of a game!!! Rockwood played good small ball with some big hits in the late innings gave rockwood the win.

yeah well considering Rockwood beat Stone thursday then Stone turns around and beats Wartburg like 6 to 1 sat. Then Rockwood beats Greenback by 2 plus Wartburg beat Grace pretty bad so it sounds like Rockwood might be tougher this year then everyone is expecting. But everyone is saying that Wartburg and Greenback are going to be in the top three in the region. I will put Rockwood up there with Harriman and the other two going for third and fourth. Rockwood beat Greenback without Skidmore on the mound. So much for Greenback being loaded. I know its pre-season but from what everyone is saying there not loaded and Rockwood is not as bad as everyone says they are. They went 2-0 in their pre-season tourney.

Wartburg beat Grace Christian Rockwood beat Stone 4 to 3 Yesterday in Rockwood's pre-season tourney. Rockwood didn't look bad at all and the Skidmore kid looked really good last night.
