  1. If you're talking to me, then the answer is no. Never said that I was for cutting weight classes. I'm for coaches putting in the necessary time and energy to build their programs so that their team's reputation precedes them and it becomes something that kids want to be a part of and parents want their children involved with. My post was only questioning RMC's reluctance to admit an advantage after he posts his desire for a 95 lb. weight class.
  2. RMC, no one questions your love of the sport, or the hard work that has gone into building the Collins Hill program. However, your sarcastic logic is flawed (the cattle prod remark). For years, you have talked about the huge numbers at Collins Hill. The varsity is gone here, while the JV1 is gone there and the JV 2 is gone there, etc, etc, etc. Building a strong program starts with a good plan, and hard work as you say, but if you think that having 3800 kids in your school doesn't help your statistical odds of finding a couple of 100 pounders walking the halls, you're not being realistic.
  3. Of course you would. You come from a school with a student body population of roughly 4000 kids. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  4. RMC, you said that he's one of your coaches. His bio says he's a middle school teacher and Head wrestling coach at the high school. Has Cliff Ramos been demoted, or is he at a different high school?
  5. Don't mess with a good thing! Two years ago, this was also a big match, as it is almost every year. The good people over at Raider Central decided to hold this event in the Wrestling building which looks like it was built to hold about 400-500 people. They brought in some fold out bleachers which added about 50-60 seats, but the rest had to stand, or walk away at the door. After making the drive down, I wasn't going anywhere, so I stood for a few hours. Glad to see they have reconsidered this year. The Cleveland Dome will be just fine.
