We had a real good one, but Aric in his infinite wisdom let him go! Could not figure out why he did that. Also, for 1st year Coach Dedman has done a good job taking over a tough situation.

It actually appeared that Portland had an offensive plan; simple but effective. On the other hand, we have no offense Our defense has played well enough for us to have won more games. Any suggestions? go dubc

I hate to say this, but I think no one really cares about my "kitties" anymore!! We were really good for a few years, but the last (2) have been a struggle. Last year was awful; this year is a bit better, but still not very good. Maybe next year ---Our defense is not bad, but we have no scoring (other than our great kicker) go dubc ............finish with (2) wins

The Cats had a pretty good run for 4-5 years in a very tough league under Alexander and Aric........I think Coach Dedman will get us back on track in time. Your Bears were not to potent for a while under the previous coach, and it took Perry a while to get them going. My Glade Kitties had a rough night at Beech, but WE WILL bounce back vs the Stars. I think will dominate, and get back on the winning track. Coach Brad Dedman has this program going in the right direction. go DubC

Good News! we had great turn-out tonight for the football fund-raiser Not So Good News! we did not look very good in our scrimmage with Smith Co.; I hope that SC is a lower league powerhouse; otherwise I am a bit worried. Hopefully we will look better in our next one. go dubc

I did not think I was hating on WC coaches ( I must admit to not being totally supportive of the recently departed HC) I just pointed out; that all WC head coaches have been rather tubby. You should should not be so sensitive to the true facts. Dedman is a brand-spanking new head coach; how will he do? Good I hope, because I rather like the Glade Kitties (they are my team!!). Sorry if I hurt your sensitivities Coach!! Now get to work, and get them Kitties back to winning. I am really pulling for this new head coach. go dubc

Anything or anyone would have been an upgrade at WC. TO PORTLAND: Oh my!! I heard he was in the running for the Macon County job. Pretty high on their list. Now that is interesting!

I hope Macon Co. is a good team next year. Ugly is all that I can say!

I was told that the Cats were not very impressive. I am very concerned at this point. I think we have another scrimmage vs Macon Co.; we should do very good with them..........shouldn't we?? They are usually pretty bad.

Heard that our former coach was interviewed. If he gets the job; I would say that ya'll would stay in the "spread O". I think he still has that "Tony Franklin" instruction manual and such. Hester has been in the spread offense....hasn't he? Might be a good fit; the job and the coaching gear

Where did you hear that from? I saw the list of all coaches that applied and were considered, and Coach Elrod was not on that list. I also did not know he was not going back to Hunters Lane. My sources are letting me down and I do not believe that HC offer.........but if it was true; I know several parentsand players that would have liked that!! I heard the Rutherford guy was a Coach Kessler from Smyrna, and you say he turned it down?? And, another turned it down last Friday. Hmm, so I guess that the winner will be behind door #3.

And the winner is..................................!! My sources tell me the job has been offered to an outsider (sorry Coach Dedman), and it will be announced today. I am sorry to say that I do not know who! I am guessing a coach from Rutherford Co. Anyone have the name?
