And it doesn't help that u beat a d2 guy tonight if u dnt wrestle ppl who r from ur own division and they r actually ranked it does no good

Pimpinshane I know u won ur match tonight but there is no reason to come on here and post ur results of who u beat so u can try and be ranked it's sad that your always on here trying to praise on yourself and results should be done by coaches and rankings don't mean anything at all just an FYI

Kermick shouldve dropped from number 1 alex from Tullahoma dominated him in the consis at BLACKHORSE and Oliver from Germantown should be ranked at 135 he's a stud

Jw but how can Kermick from Germantown still be ranked 2nd when he lost to Alex from Tullahoma this past weekend Jw and glad to see Oliver from Germantown in the rankings

Please pray for Ryan and the rest of the Schmidt family I started wrestling with Ryan while we were in middle school great family to be around

After watching Hixson this weekend at BLACKHORSE tournament they only placed 3 in the tournament they aren't the same team that they have been in the past but not a team I'd rank in the top 15 in the state

He is good, but I'm not sure I'd throw him into that STUD category just yet. The match we very close with Johnson (actually I think it was 4-3 Johnson) until those back to back lat throws. You could see the frustration on Johnson's face for walking into those. But heck, won't take away anything from Oliver, he did what he set out to do. It should be fun seeing where he ends up this year. Definitely has all the tools.

How about the Germantown 112 got 5th in the Houston tourney at 119lbs

Actually Kendall Kermick from Germantown went 119 and he got man handled by Tate Robinson from CBHS then lost 9-0 to the Tullahoma kid..

I'm not trying to be negative I just think it'd help out everybody in the long run ud be able to actually practice with more ppl

Some of the public schools like the Bury and Ridgeway and White station should form one team since try dnt have enough to really compete in a dual I mean Munford and Brighton do it and would save alot of ppl dual matches when a team has only 4 guys wrestling

are you kidding me? There are several very good youth programs in the Memphis area. One of which has produced more All-Americans than any other program in the state. So don't tell me that there aren't any good youth programs.

 

The issue with Region 8 is simply that wrestling is still young out here, give it time and I'm sure they will be up there with the rest of the state.

actually wrestling isnt that young its just not as of exposed as it should be the media should cover more wrestling stuff. and wave wrestling and a couple other programs do u have good numbers but not when it comes to the public schools

Tate Robinson is def a beast and when he wrestles somebody who isn't on the same level with him he toys with them and I think Robinson would def push Kendall to the limit and come out with the victory and Kendall will prob see Robinson at blackhorse plus gtown hates wrestling private schools from Memphis

maybe there just wasn't enough competition for them.

They can't compete with the rest of the Memphis guys and preseason doesn't even count so y both traveling probably because there so focused on kermick

I was very happy to see ridgeway get there wrestling program back it used to be an amazing program when coach bray was there great job for the new coach

Holden Schay from Houston has a shot at medaling, probably at 160. That is if those football coaches weren't trying to fatten him up all season.

Holden def looked like he was still in football weight but by black horse he will be in wrestling shape great kid just like his brother was.. He will be in the finals from Houston but I dnt expect hardly anybody from region 8 other then kermick
