D2 schools def produce talent and ya I'm sure and know lots of kids who went to public school for middle school then a private school for high school and they wrestle and some it is because depending where your at the private schools have a better program and able to get more exposure outside of the state of Tn in order to help take their talents to the next level

I'm curious to how kids miss weight at the regions or state tourney. D2 west had 2 or 3 guys miss weight... You've been doing this for how long and you can't make weight

I believe it was MUS who was the 3rd team and from my knowledge they didn't want to wrestle a dual so since they didn't wrestle and the athletic director found out about it they were told they couldn't go to the state duals... Coming from d2 west side I wish it would change to 2 teams every year..these 2 teams have been the same 2 schools every year...

Brinson won the tourney against my bro at prep slam in OT and it was a darn good match and really nice kid def can wrestle at the next level

Nick Marable isnt wrestling in college but is still wrestling at a high level and traveling wrestling in big tourneys trying to make the USA team if I'm not mistaken but ghouse or someone from bros can clearify that

I find in funny TD2 that you say public schools would do better due to the past when it was combined if you look at whose producing and more successful college wrestlers it's hands down D2 today

I don't think going back to chatt is a good idea I'm pretty sure most people prefer it to be in the center of the state especially ppl from west tn driving 6 hrs is crazy

And I'm sure many other states do

I'm officiated a tourney in Arkansas yesterday and found out a couple of things and the biggest one was that they have a individual state a dual state and then the last weekend they have what's called a grand championship which is basically whoever won the Individual state champ wrestles the other state champ in different division. So for us this would be D1 vs D2... Now why is it that Arkansas has this but yet the state of TN doesn't???????. Mind you that ark wrestling is nothing like Tn and is nowhere near the size but yet they are doing this?????

Yes Boykin looked dominating however mcintosh still my fav coming out of 197

Boykin win a tech in consi.. Decent showing from lots of guys who are wrestling all over the country who wrestled in tenn... I will say that majority of them from D2 other than Boykin
