  1. Farragut carries around a can of whoopa$$ and they keep it in the dugout. They usually open it up during their games. Siegel has the ability to hang with Farragut but they have to play the perfect game. No mistakes and a whole pile of hits. Even then Siegel has to hope the Farragut hitters don't find the gaps. It would be nice to throw your top guy but that won't happen in a non-district game so somebody else is going to have to step up. If Siegel can keep it close it's a victory.
  2. I know y'all have a big time playmaker/bat in right field in Shaffer so I would assume right field is not an option for Fullerton. So where do you put him? You got Moore in left and Duval or Taylor in center. If Fullerton is that fast and can hit he'll play somewhere, but your right, it's a good problem for a coach to have.
  3. I didn't see that one but I saw the catch Shaffer made during the wood bat world series last summer. That's the best catch I've ever seen with the game on the line.
  4. Who do you feel is the best all around player, factoring in power, arm strength, speed, average, and defense?
  5. Batting Order if Fullerton plays 2B and Robinson plays 3B... 1 Fullerton 2 Moore 3 Shaffer 4 Robinson 5 Schloss 6 Kosinski (DH) 7 Bartlett 8 Prather 9 Duvall/Taylor
  6. Siegel will be tough to beat this year. In addition to formidable pitching, the Stars will bring quite a bit of pop to the plate and overall team speed is impressive. Junior Josh Shaffer in right field is a 5 tool player and is a game changer both in the field and swinging the bat. Made the best fully laid out diving game extending play during the Summer I've ever seen. Senior Patrick Schloss, Junior Corey Moore, and Sophomores Tyler Fullerton and David Kosinski will all have an impact, as well as the other returning starters from last year. The return of Neil Robinson is huge and his contribution on the hill and at the plate will give the Stars another game changer in the lineup. Tough lineup from top to bottom. Look for Blackman to be strong as well with returning starters Bowers and Sisco. Oakland and Riverdale are always tough and it should be a great year for 7-AAA baseball.
