I have only been around high school bowling for about 4yrs now. The best I have seen would be Michael Poirier his senior year. He was good as an underclassman, but he really lit it up his last year with a 300 and a +800 series. Another individual I saw bowl once was out of Smyrna, Kyle Barnes. He did not bowl well the day I watched him, but his mechanics were smooth. Picking one out of all the years and schools would be tough because there is so much talent out there. Tennessee is definitely blessed with some awesome talent.

Toofunny: I am not real confident in your judging abilities. You called district 8 a "weak district" without many good bowlers. How about looking at the TSSAA Girls State Tournament bracket. I see 2 out of the final 8 teams are from district 8. Hmmmm?!?!?!?!?! Way to go Central and Lawrence County!

Lawrence County girls def Walker-Valley Saturday 17-10. That was a fun match to watch and hard fought. My hats off to the girls, coaches and parents at Walker-Valley. They were excellent hosts and showed excellent sportsmanship. Their girls team is very talented. This is our first visit to the State Tournament. Good luck in Smyrna all! Our team bowls in the same district as CCHS. I saw in the first match we bowled there was a huge upside to this team and told my girls team that Central would be strong by year's end. We were lucky to beat them twice during the season, but in the District and Regional tournaments, they shot lights out. These girls are bowling extremely well right now and definitely have their "A" game. Congrats girls and coaches; your hard work is definitely showing! Good luck at State.
