A big win for Columbia Academy tonight. Not to take anything at all away from the very consistent play of the Bulldogs, but in the end, for Mt. Pleasant, there were at least two potential touchdown passes dropped and many other big yardage catches that were not made. You have to make those catches to win close games. Bulldogs pick up the win in the JUNGLE by a final of 17-6

Mt. Pleasant is unable to do anything with the recovered fumble. CA takes over on downs with 1:34 to play. The score is 17-6

FUMBLE!!! Tigers recover on their own ten yard line. 3:11 to go and the Tigers trail CA 17-6

Bulldogs intercept #1 on 3rd & 15. 4:38 to go and it looks like Mt. Pleasant will lose to CA for the first time in eight years.

CA kicks a 33 yard field goal to extend the lead over Mt. Pleasant. It's CA 17, Mt. Pleasant 6.

Fourth quarter begins. CA withe the ball and 3rd and 19 on their own 44.

TOUCHDOWN BULLDOGS!!! Nice run by #10 to increase the Bulldog lead. With 2:59 to play in the third CA leads 14-7

Halftime in the JUNGLE. Tigers trail 7-6. CA will have the ball to start the second half.

FUMBLE!!! Tigers lose the ball and CA has it at the Tiger 45 with 3:35 to play in the half.

FUMBLE!!! Tigers have the ball at their own 18 with 4:52 to play in the half! GO mTp!!!

TOUCHDOWN TIGERS!!! Nice run from #1 but picks up a personal foul at the end of the play Grrr. The penalty is assessed on the extra point attempt and the ball is placed on the 18 for the extra point. Nice effort on the two point attempt as the Tiger receiver is pushed out of bounds at the 1 yard line. 6:21 to play in the half and Tigers trail CA 7-6.

1st quarter is a defensive stalemate with neither team scoring. But with 10:11 remaining in the second, #29 runs it in for CA to give the Bulldogs the first score of the night. Extra point is good. It's 7-0 Columbia Academy.

Game over in Mt. Pleasant. Tigers pick up the win 39-14. So much for that scrimmage Spring Hill had with Cascade as proof that the Raiders would tear up the Tigers. It was all Tigers all game. Spring Hill's band was fantastic. Bottom line. Way to go TIGERS!!!

4th quarter begins in Mt. Pleasant. Tigers have the ball on their own 31, 2nd down and 8.

RAIDERS SCORE!!! 30 yard run by #29 and the two point conversion attempt fails. Spring HIll has the only score of the second half but still trail the Tigers 26-14 with 45 seconds to play in the 3rd.

Raiders mount a methodical drive to start the second half, including going for it on 4th and 4 to get the first down to keep the drive alive. But at the 5 yard line the Tigers force a fumble!! Tigers have it on their own five.

Halftime in the JUNGLE. Tigers still lead 26-8 over Spring Hill.
