i agree...catholic finished first in a district that had a 3rd place team, AC, that handed it to carter and alcoa! if i remember correctly, AC beat carter by 17 without rorex.

fulton beat AC 66-59 in OT! AC played their butts off and deserved the win. fulton is a good team, and its tough to beat a good team when they shoot 34 ft to AC's 11. congrats to the AC boys on a great effort and good luck to fulton!

what happens when both teams try to lose? who will get greedy and want the extra win? i think that etcoach has a great idea about about the fourth place team. the consolation games would be a lot more interesting if something was on the line. also, there needs to be more of a reward for the district tourney champion- why not give them a bye?

no....scott has that upset! cak is playing better, but this will not happen.

driving over the speed limit isnt illegal unless you get caught. they wouldnt have done it if the refs were out there! then again, i bet graceramfan has never driven over the speed limit; and im sure he cant dunk either.

if AC had not stumbled at the end, i believe that cross would have been named POY. but, they did and he wasnt. congrats to broussard and kiser. i do think CAK will get their 1st district win tonight.

i heard that the manager got two good looks from three but both attempmts rimmed out. DW court at Eldridge Gymnasium may have had its roof blown off if he had connected. he actually shoots the ball very well. i saw him in a JV game hit three 3's in a row! i think that it is awesome that coach wallace gave the kid this opporunity. great story and great win for AC!

i agree with you about the adding a scott player or two (sexton, and maybe massengill), but a lot of neon's stuff looks pretty good!

THE ONLY PROBLEM WILL WITH BEARDEN'S MANAGER PARTICIPATING IS THAT HE IS A LITTLE OLDER THAN THE MANAGERS IN DISTRICT 4AA. MAYBE HE COULD REF THE GAMES OR ANNOUNCE THE HAPPENINGS ROCKYTOP LEAGUE STYLE!! I HAVE SEEN SMHS'S MANAGER AND HE SEEMS LIKE A REAL GO-GETTER! IF SCOTT DOESNT HAVE A MANAGER, I VOTE THAT WE LET THE CHEERLEADER PLAY. THIS WAY ALL TEAMS WILL HAVE A REPRESENTATIVE.

you are more than welcome to post your own. but, if you are a fan of cak; you will have trouble getting any of the improving warriors on the list. cak doesnt have a single player that would start at the top three schools in the district. naler is close, but needs another year to develop. if you havent looked at the standings, cak is throwing up a goose egg! good luck to the warriors and the rest of the district. and, i agree, AC does have one of the best managers in the state! that kid would do anything for those guys or the coaches...a total team player!
