  1. Well how did you guys do against them?
  2. Let's see what Murphy Fair says... oh East didn't report anything, they must be hiding their big guns so they don't tip PC off. PC 20 - East 14
  3. And soon enough it shall be, they have a scrimmage tomorrow night (Friday) at 7:00 pm at home against Zion. It should be a little interesting to say the least.
  4. Yes he is and he has been doing really good.
  5. I agree with Radio, the Vikings were moving the ball up and down the field. I wish they had a couple refs to spot the ball and follow the downs. It was hot for the boys, but nobody quit fighting. Huntingdon's coach got quite upset and threw his clipboard across the field after we recovered their fumble or was it because their equipment manager ran the Gator into the chain link fence. Nobody got hurt but it was a little funny. Huntingdon has a good RB and I'm sure he's gonna be putting some points on the board for them.
  6. The unapproved website is M-A-X P-R-E-P-$
  7. Mark my words, anyone doubting PC's OL this year will be crying to their therapist after the game. As far as the big white kid not blocking anyone in Cornersville, go check out unapproved website and see the videos for yourself... HATER!!!!!!
  8. Hmm last time I watched a football game, I saw eleven players on the field...
  9. How did PC do at their scrimmage yesterday?
  10. I would agree that 1A players are limited on their exposure to D1 opportunities only if they are expecting their football coach alone to get them noticed. You must have a good relationship with your coach, because he is usually the first person the recruiters call. Anyone wanting to go to the next level can get exposure by attending combines, putting up decent times, sending out films and calling colleges. There is a lot of time and effort put into recruiting whether you are from a small school or large school. I commend any kid who can transition from high school sports to college sports; whether it is D1a, D1aa, DII, DIII, or NAIA. You must read "ATHLETES WANTED" if you are really interested in going on to play college sports, it is very informative.
  11. It is too early to say what is going to happen this year, but the defense needs to do better to stop the run and the offense needs to fight until the last second. There were several games last year that could have been won, had everyone stepped up for a gut check. I was hoping to check out the team at spring practice, but it looks as if I may have to wait until summer camp. Also, I think there is only one lineman who power cleans over 300 lbs.
  12. I have to say my son told me the players from JB he went up against played very clean and did not talk any trash. He wanted me to commend #20 on his sportsmanship. Even though the game turned out the way it did, everyone from JB was respectful and encouraging afterwards. I truly believe we will learn from this and look forward to seeing you again next year (maybe in PC). Good luck JB and WC.
  13. Belasic IS being looked at by colleges such as Alabama, Vanderbilt, Duke, UCLA, Cincinnati, Louisville, WKU...
  14. When I said we will go at least 6-4 this season, I wasn't trying to hype anyone up. The players have worked and are still working hard to increase their strength and speed during this off season. We lost a couple good seniors, but the majority of our starters were juniors and sophomores. These boys have matured a lot, they are mentally prepared to play and we definitely have the talent. Talking with some of the other coaches and players, it seems like several schools lost some of their talent and/or depth. I'm not saying that the next kid in line can't do the job, but a two year starter will typically have an advantage over someone just stepping into a position. What I do know is that if the teams we play think we are anything like last year, they will be oh so unpleasantly surprised.
  15. We did have some injuries that I think cost us a couple games (safety, running back, receiver), but in my opinion, I think Perry County will surprise some people this year. We lost several graduating seniors, but we still have 7 or 8 exceptional players; including our running backs, defensive backs and lineman. The average weight for the offensive tackles is 330 lbs and they have been hitting the weights hard this off season (both are squatting over 400 lbs). The lightest returning lineman is a guard weighing in at 205 lbs. The running game will far exceed what was put on the books last year and when the passing game develops we will be a mean machine. My prediction is we will go at least 6-4 this season.
