Big G...how is your field holding up...do you do anything to maintain it during this type of weather...we have to get these games it but the fields really take a beating....

overall a good hard soccer run to the goal....the center Ref had the best angle the whole way...His call was a PK he was on the play the whole way he should have overruled the linesmen...really I was on the sideline ...not anymore shoving than any other time of game clear mistake...critical part of game... that PK would have made it 3-2...who knows...Berean should not have given up two of those goals...the second was a really nice shot...berean is not in form YET...Can we get any flat fields around here????

OH My...no doubt Seymour was the better team last night...your comments on the field and game are so off ...Seymour's fields is actually 5 yards more narrow then Berean's I marked it off myself and the crown???.. your just giving people miss information Seymour's crown is twice as bad I have been on both fields...you see just like the Ref in the game last night of which the play in question happened right in front of me ...just for your info the Center Ref first called for the PK and then got scared...hey I bet you were the Ref last night...Seymour is well coached and most players were fine and played very well I hope they can keep winning to make it interesting for the whole district... the real loser in this is comments like yours being made...go ref a AYSO girls game and make yourself feel important...lets talk soccer...PLEASE!

One has a knee injury...unsure on his staus 3 weeks for sure he is the forward...one more might be back in two weeks the other is lost for the year....Coach Lee does an amazing job of motivating and getting the most out of a player...it is tough but that is what they have to work through

Freshman Isaac Jordan on a great hustle/skill play... had another goal taken away by the ditch in front of the goal... and was taken down in the box for a PK...oh yea the ref changed his mind after he called that one as a PK...good game a bit closer than the score might suggest... Seymour played well and clean...Berean is just behind...only their 3rd real game...lost 3 starters at the beginning of season one starting forward other two are defense starters...Hard tocome back when they a short players already...

heard from some guys who played SD and they talked about what a class act the team and coaches displayed ...if they can work well and finish they could pull it off....2-1 SD

Rusty Baxter from Berean Christian signed with Milligan College

I think it is great for soccer for people to be passionate about their teams district...whoever comes out of the district the winner could make some moves later... Seymour has helped the level of soccer and will continue to do so I think a lot of the schools lose key players to graduation so after the realignment who knows...I have heard Berean only has about 50 guys in the whole high school so for them to be even close to competive is quite an achievment...I do not think there are any hard feelings just competive spirits!

Seymour will be at Seymour ...alcoa Home...Oh come on ref...making an excuse about field ...yes it is small...narrow plenty long...have not noticed the crown...the sides drop off a bit if I remeber correctly...but really after a few min. good teams adjust...alcoa field is nice...but iagree with Balboa Berean will always be the unkown factor...you never will know who they bring in each year...They always play hard and i do not think that is true of Seymour...they sort of resort to american football if they get frustrated so hopefully they have worked on that ???? I know Gibbs has Blain Worley a product of Berean MS soccer but they have played him out of postion at times...What will the schools do when Berean host regionals and home playoff district games...it is a great place to watch a game...so don't smake an opponents field just be ready....should be an exciting year... the level of play is obiviously getting better in this district and Berean has had a lot to do with that...

Well you have to understand a few things first...the first game Berean played Seymour in indoor two of their starters were playing with their club team...5 of the guys that played that night had never played soccer before...hence the 8-1 score...the next game the two were back and it was 8-7 Seymour scoring a last second prayer goal...so just wanted to clear that up...but what is the chip on the shoulder about private schools? Berean has 104 high school students it is the smallest school in the state to field a socer team...and most of you have them 4th in 3A! that is pretty amazing don't you think? I have also heard Mike McDonald has been working with them...two of their guys played on the Kickers squad this past season...

Berean lost two starters as seniors...but Rusty Baxter is back and should be the steady force...they have a awsome keeper and a dynamic freshman coming in I think...they played Seymour even in indoor...most of the indoor team was not actual team players.....they will not field a large team though which could hurt them later in the season...

How about Isaac Jordan from Berean... Premier League Player at the U18 age Lakeway Kickers while he was 15...keep your eyes open Carson Jones Seymour??? really????
