I thought all Euro had was last year's results. Where are their current rankings located?

Ravenwood 2 Baylor 0 Ravenwood controlled play in the first half. Baylor made some nice adjustments at halftime and had their way the first 20 minutes of the 2nd half. Too many athletes and good possession work by Ravenwood in the final 20 minutes to close it out. I don't think Ravenwood allowed a goal during the tournament.

Isn't the junior year exactly the time when the recruiting starts and the boys are talking to the college coaches?

Chill BH, if I'd wanted to give you specifics I would have. Just another middle tennessee soccer fan with a son who plays and enjoys the game like many of the others on the board. Leave it at that.

Yes I have a player and he plays for one of the Franklin/Brentwood schools and plays travel ball also. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Think mostly out West where I think his family is from. I've heard Georgetown and Tennessee schools also mentioned.

Thanks for the clarification. I guess my memory didn't serve me very well. Can certainly understand why you can't wait to have him back. I hope he comes back stronger than ever as he's a super young man. Have enjoyed watching him play. My son thinks the world of him also. Good family.

Have to agree with Joga. I've seen R'wood play and they do come to play. Will be interesting to see the two midfields do battle as both are very good. Tummons with H'ville is the real deal. McGuinness for Ravenwood is a player and Hock for Ravenwood has some mean footskills. Ravenwood also has a Sophomore - don't remember his name - that's ODP and is very good too.

Yeah, not surprising. One of the mids for Blackman is Matt Cavett. Very good in the middle and a better kid. He'll be playing for Arkansas State if memory serves.

Yeah you're probably right. Think Blackman will struggle due to injuries. Did you see the Lavergne game vs. Blackman? If so, how did the midfield match up look?

Think Centennial should be on the list; Sandy is a good coach and they have some talent, especially if Tyson gets healthy. Brentwood may be too high based on loss of about a dozen seniors so a top 5 may be generous but they always seem good at reloading. Agree with Independence for now but not really convinced they'll stay top 5 (defeated Page 1 - 0 last week). Don't see Father Ryan this high (lost to Ravenwood 3 - 2 last week). Agree that Blackman should be on the list, however, think they'll struggle at midfield with the injury to Matt Cavett so we'll see. Agree Hendersonville should be top dog as they have 4 or 5 seniors who have all signed LOI's and Nathanial Sprouse should help them too. They travel to Ravenwood this week. Should be good. Both sides have good center mids who could make the difference.

A little surprised with this. Nothing against Page but would have expected a larger margin in favor of Independence. Believe they're pretty young but thought they were pretty loaded. Good for Page for playing them tough!

Ravenwood looked very organized and dominated possession and the middle, especially in the 1st half. Goal by Brandon Saunders got them started, followed by a PK from Andrew McGuinness and nice clean up by Andrew Mason. Jonah made it interesting in the 2nd half with a couple of goals for Ryan. As I mentioned last week, Ravenwood looks good. Think they're going to sneak up on some folks.

Close. Certainly a Mid. TN soccrfan with years of exposure to the local kids playing for TNFC, Brentwood, and HFC. Do like what I see at Ravenwood but also think Centennial and Independence will be in the running. Can't ignore Brentwood either, especially if Nick Desalvatore, Eric Bowen, and Michael Giordano can all stay healthy.
