  1. My daughter is 17 and wants to play this Sat. the 14th in Crossville. She is a catcher, 3rd or ss and has experience in outfield. Very solid bat with good speed. If you need a player please call 931-248-1025 Thanks
  2. Well my kid wasn't there yet when they first opened, so I have no inside info on exactly what happened, but I know the old CCHS coach never stepped on the field with SMHS. Two coaches in five years. And of the four years, the girls had a pretty good run with 1 trip to states, 4 district championships and 3 regionals. Pretty solid to me. We may have some rebuilding to do this year as everyone gets to know each other, but still going to be solid once again. Our new coach, being a former college player with no ties to any of the kids, will be a breath of fresh air. Ok Im done, not into this whole drama thing I will just keep reading and now know not to post a reply
  3. Speaking for Stone Memorial.....What do you mean by "running a coach out of state"? A few years ago the school didn't even exist! This is only the 5th year this school has been open and has had the same coach for the first four years. It was a daddy, but some one had to do it right!? If you are speaking of what happened when the schools split, that was an AD choice not the parents. We now have a new coach, she is a former player and has a good head for the game. Our girls are happy about this and will be working hard. Looking forward to next spring.
  4. Stone defeats Seymour 3-2 in region 2 AA Also in 2 AA Gibbs over Kingston 10-0
  5. I go to the scoreboard section on this site. It has dates and location of games.
  6. Can anyone tell me if they are still going to have games? Weather doesn't look promising /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> Thanks
  7. Is the tournament still on? We don't play till tomarrow evening, but with all the yucky stuff out there, and more coming, just wondering. Anybody?
  8. I mentioned her in the "who's behind the plate?" thread, but I say it again here. Jackie L from Stone is starting her freshman year strong! Starting at 3rd or 1st, batting 6th. At Cookeville's play day, she hit the schools first homerun of the year and had some good plays. Last night in DeKalb Co. she scored the only run in two games for the Lady Panthers. One heck of a hitter. After a torn ACL last summer, she has come back with a vengence and hasn't skipped a beat. She will only get stronger and better as she goes through high school.
  9. As far as I know the Hendersonville tourney isn't untill this weekend.
  10. Stone Memorial, Rockwood and Cumberland Co. will be playing Friday 3/6 at CCHS fields. SMHS vs. Rockwood @ 5:30 cst. SMHS will also be at the Cookeville play day this Saturday. Way to go Lindsey! Im very happy for you! Keep it up, just not against us! LOL Frog's mom /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />
  11. Lindsey is a great kid. DD played with her on the Crossville Red Hotz 12U and they won USSSA State that year. She was impressive then and I can only imagine how far she will go. The cool thing is, not only can she pitch, she can smack the friggen ball also!!! Good luck kid! Frog's Mom
  12. I vote for freshman Jackie LaVigne from Stone Memorial. She wont be the work horse behind the plate this year, junior Kayla M has that job. Jackie will be starting at 3rd and rotating catcher. But she will be one to watch. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> Game smart and knows how to work the plate. Heck of an arm and solid hitter.
