I am going to have to go with Peabody on this one. Pressing them would be to Peabody's advantage redbirdfan. Look at how they handled Westview's press. Peabody will not go into this game cocky b/c they know that they could get beat. They learned this earlier in the season from Milan and Crockett County. If Peabody and Gleason both play their best games, I believe Peabody would go home with the victory.

Who will be crowned region 8a champions?Any thoughts?

I have all the faith in the world in the Lady Tidettes. After all that they have been through ,as far as coaches are concerned, they have still been very successful. Their senior class made the school's first appearance to the state tournament their freshmen year, they were state champions their sophomore year, and they were runner up their junior year, and people still continue to doubt them. I'm going with Peobody winning it all.

I pick Peabody and South Fulton to win their districts. It will be a battle between Gibson Co. and Westview, but I think that Gibson Co. will come out on top. These are just my predictions.

Peabody has already beat Lake County twice.(once by 40 and the other time by about 20),and trust me, Peabody will bring their "A"game.See ya on Friday.

There's no sure way of knowing who will win. I'm pretty sure that it will be a good game and both teams will leave it on the court.

It is really too early to think about sub-state.Anything could happen.

I don't understand why Peabody wasn't #1, but I bet that they won't worry about it.They'll show whose #1 on the court.They haven't lost to a A team since the semi-finals against Celina 2 years ago. It's ok though,we'll see in March.

It seems you people have a lot to say. Since you wanna dogg Peabody like that and get crunk why don't you write your name at the bottom of the screen. We have already proved that we can beat a AAA school.

I don't understand why so many people are hating on Peabody. They were hated on all last year, and now the same thing is happening. What more can they do to shake all those haters off.

I expect great things from Peabody next year considering that they lost no players.

The lady tide has proven all of there HATERS wrong.I am pretty sure that their HATERS dont have much to say now,so just stop the HATING and give the tidettes the props that they deserve.

I think that the tidettes will be back at the tourn. next year but they will have to work for it.No one in their district or region is just going to give it to them.The Lady Tide will work hard this some to get a lot better.They will probably be 5 time better next year.

Losing to someone isnt impressive .What I was saying is that they only lost to the #1 team in AA.That is very impressive to me after loosing all of their talent from last year.They have lost to no A school and I am sure that that they dont plan to .

If only loosing to the number one team in AA isnt impressive then I dont know what is.(not to mention that peabody lost six seniors and 5 starters)Dresden can bring the biggest crowd if they want because what goes on on the court is what will matter

Who do you pick to win the region 8a title? I am pulling for Peabody.They are the only team that has beaten every team in the district and region twice,but in tournaments none of that matters.Peabody should defend the region title.

Peabody has beaten every team in their region.Even though Dresden took them to overtime,they still found a way to win.Those 8-A teams have nothing on Peabody.

I think that Peabody girls have a great chance to go back to state this year.They played horrible last night against Lake County(Lake County played one of their best games)and Peabody still won.Great teams always find a way to win.Great job Peabody for defending the District 16-A championship.They have beaten every team in their region ,and they will be fun to watch.Good Luck Peabody!
