On the football side of things I agree about it not hurting GCHS, but I think it will help SGHS. The kids playing @ Medina middle will get to continue to play together once they reach highschool. The coaching staff will have an easier time teaching the players if most of them are on the same page. I know there are countless other county schools that have several feeder middle schools and do just fine mixing the different kids together to be successful but in the case of GCHS it has just never been productive. Maybe GCHS' coaching staff needs to have a coaching clinic with all the middle school coaches and atleast get them on the same page with fundamentals.
