  1. Check out the link below. Lindsey Fadnek from Coalfield All-South Region First Team Pitcher and Rachel Albritton from Riverdale All-South Region Second Team Pitcher. Congratulations Ladies !!! http://www.nfca.org/pagebank/?id=1865
  2. aWisaW, You make it sound like Coalfiled comes down here and is two and out every year with your Tradition comments. This is onlty the second time in school history the Lady Jackets have ever made it to the state tournament. Looks like you got it out for them for some reason. Come watch today you might have a different opinion or not !!!
  3. Definitely not a good night for Fadnek and the Lady Jackets. As I said in and an earlier post Grace was heavily favored and for good reason. Layce Walker brought her A Game and Fadnek struggled. I believe we will see a different Coalfield team on the field today and they won't be so uptight. Time will tell. Good luck to Grace !!!
  4. No doubt Grace is a Great ball team. You will probably see two of the best pitchers in the state face off tonight in their match up. Both of these pitchers play for the Fury orginazation and I know both will bring their A game tonight. I don't think either one of these teams are taking the other lightly at all. Although Grace is heavily favored, it could be a strong pitchers dual. Good Luck to both.
  5. Call me if you have a chance 865-387-8686

  6. They played Unicoi and Seymour in the Morristown Tournament. They came out on the losing end but not without a fight. They were the only Single-A team there. They went to Franklin to play in the Sonic classic but the rain got everyone. They have tried to schedule several games with teams from Knoxville and the surrounding areas but have had a hard time getting them to play. Coalfield is really looking forward to playing next week no matter the outcome.
  7. aWisaW, No doubt about that. Lindsey has several summer ball teammates that play for Grace and yes it is going to be a very tough game. This kid has faced some of the best ball players around and I know she will bring her A game on Tuesday. Hope to see you there !!!
  8. aWisaW, you got your facts wrong about making it out of the region for Coalfield. For the past four years now they have played in the Sub-State Sectional and now they have made to the Boro for the second time. For a high school that has less than 200 kids in it I don't think that's too bad. Fadnek's arm has done alot for this little school and once again they are one of the final eight in single A. 28-4 with 400 k's. I'll take that arm anyday. Don't count them out, you might be suprised,
  9. Hey aWisaW, I thought you were picking winners here not taking Jabs at teams. Coalfield's Two and done has worked pretty good so far this year. Yes they got a really tough draw right out of the gate, and yes Grace has the upper edge, but don't count them out just because of the low scores they have put up. If I'm not mistaking it only takes one to win the game. They will ride the arm of Fadnek just like they have all year. When you haven't allowed many runs, it doesn't take many to win !!!
  10. Great ball game...Coalfield comes out on top 2-0 over Midway. Coalfield scored first off a solo HR from Lindsey Fadnek and then added another in the sixth from a base hit by Cierra Sheldon after walking Andrea Foster to start off the inning. Fadnek threw a three hit "Shut Out" with 13 K's in the game.
  11. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe you can have try-outs or practices with high school ladies during HS softball season for a travel ball team. I believe this is against TSSAA rules and regulations.
  12. Congratulations to Coalfield's Lindsey Fadnek. She is this weeks NFCA High School Player of the week. http://www.nfca.org/news/?id=3663
  13. Coalfield over Loudon tonight 2-0
  14. Congratulations to Coalfield's Lindsey Fadnek. She recorded her 1000th high school career "K" tonight. GREAT JOB LINDSEY !!!!
  15. Coalfield over Anderson Co 2-0 last night in eleven innings. Great Game !!!
  16. Lets see them 4-A What's the Score ?
  17. Lindsey Fadnek and Anna Renfro both play for Jeremy & Jill Higdon on the Fury 16u team. That's a pitching staff that will be tough anywhere they play !!!
  18. Coalfield's Lindsey Fadnek - Great velocity, movement and speed change. Don't count Coalfield out of making it back to Murfreesboro this year with Lindsey in the circle.
  19. Coalfield beat Rockwood last night 1-0. They will travel to Midway on Wednesday for the Region-2 Championship. GO LADY JACKETS !!!
  20. For the third time in a row The Coalfield Lady Jackets have won the District 4-A Championship. Great Job Ladies !!!!
  21. I'm looking for a coach or instructor in the Knoxville area to help my son with proper technics and foot work in the Quarter Back position. Please send me a message if you know of someone who might be able to help.
  22. Lindsey Fadnek at Coalfield is another one that should be considered
  23. You have got to put the "Lady Aces" in that group without a doubt !!!

    Kingston

It is true, Spanky was coaching a team that had at least one of his high school ball players on it during the "Dead Period". From what I understand Kingston now has an extra week of "Dead Period" added to the two weeks that is already in place state wide. This was handed down by TSSAA officals.
  25. Ladycat21, Coalfield made it and you didn't. Stop the whinning and grow up, It's a game !!!
