Don't forget the two times Walker was walked. Compare thoes stats to Fadneks 8 K's, 9 walks and 10 hits and I believe everyone found out who the better A pitcher in the state is. Also I believe Walker finished with 14 K's not 16. But I could have lost count when I had to take my shoes off to count the 12th K.

AAA Riverdale Maryville Mt Juliet over Munford and Soddy over Seymour, providing my other 1st round picks are correct. Still say Soddy and Riverdale are on a collision coarse for each other that should be a best of 3 series.

Interesting picks. Like them except for AA. Goodpasture over Chatt Central and Gibbs over Unicoi. I'll have to admit I didn't see Chatt Central beating Creek Wood, but that's why the game is played. If they can knock off Goodpasture next ill be forced to become a closet purple pounder. Bledso Co and Chester Co both got hammered and looked about the same to me so I'm gonna have to go with Gibbs for giving up less runs and Unicoi made a few baserunning mistakes. Should be a good one to watch that goes 7 innings.

AAA will come down to Riverdale and Soddy-Daisy. I think Riverdale will pull it out. AA Im gonna have to go with Goodpasture and Gibbs with it being a toss up who takes the big trophy home. Why are the experts picking Unicoi? You and Mr Knowitall see something in this team i missed?

YellowBall, I stand corrected. Sub-State is what i was meaning but still, i stated it wrong. She has dun alot for Coalfield and should be proud. I have watched her pitch from age 12 up. She is a solid pitcher and her stats are impressive, but you have to look at the level of teams most of them numbers came from. Dont know them all but the only qualiy teams i saw on yalls schedule was Seymour and Unicoi. You will see a whole lot better hitting teams next week.

For the most part i like ya picks. I was a little undecided on Unicoi game as was i on Marion Co. But we will see.

Yep your are correct sir. They will ride Fadneks' arm like they have for years. Hows that been treating yall? Last time yall were at state it was 2 and dun with her on the mound. Cornersville v/s Trinity winner = Trinity, should make it to the championship Marion v/s Unaka winner = Unaka Chatt Grace v/s Trinity in the Final AA Goodpasture v/v Lexington winner = Goodpasture Chatt Central v/s Creek Wood winner = Creek Wood Gibbs v/s Bledso Co winner = Gibbs Unicoi Co v/s Chester Co winner = Chester Co, not looking good for the Big Blue this year Goodpasture v/s Creek Wood should be a good one in the 2nd round. Then that winner v/s Gibbs in the Winners Final should be another good one to watch. AAA Bolton v/s Beech winner = Beech Maryville v/s Riverdale winner = Riverdale, Maryvilles dynamic Duo wont be enough to stop Riverdale Soddy Daisy v/s Mt. Coffee Co ranks right right up there with Unicoi Co for the most "lively" croud. Having played both teams threw the years at there home fields was an experience to say the least. A few things you might want to bring to either venue as an opposing parent/fan. 1. Bug Spray (2 cans minimum) 2. Cash for the Umpires. (only way the visitors might get a call) 3. Some form of noise maker (a loud obnoxious fan will do) 4. Camo attire with orange vest or cap. 5. A really fast vehicle. (to get the heck out of dodge when you win) Soddy 3 - CC 0
